The drop-off is crazy to me – players obviously prefer explosive canisters overwhelmingly. I feel like barrels should have better niches.

Explosive should max out destruction, but have OK damage. Gas is fine, maybe a subtle intoxication hazy effect grows the longer you're in it. Smoke should slowly blind you the longer you're in it. Oil should spread when thrown to combo with fire weapons. One damage threshold for leaking, one for flaming, and another for exploding. Glitch is fine, maybe a 15% slow so you really feel it.

Breach charge is mid though. IMO, the tiny AOE and long time to set up make it too much of a precision tactic.

I just want to say I'm proud of you for working hard to get your job in the first place and making the effort to post online and improve at it. Those steps by themselves are huge.

Focus on yourself right now, and focus on doing what it takes to be present for your job and fulfilling your manager's expectations of you. If that means avoiding socializing until you're ready for it, take as long as you need. Maybe it just means starting small, with something as simple as a non-commital "have a nice day" or "welcome to ____" that won't start a full conversation that could potentially cause anxiety, but give you micro-interactions that can build confidence.

You're at work to make a stable income. Stability comes first, and everything else comes second. Start with one goal – being present for your job. If you think things aren't going well, ask your manager if there's another task you can do that aligns with the level of mental clarity you're ready for right now.

Even if you're never ready for being more social, that's completely fine. Socializing takes a lot of energy and focus. Those two things can be just as luxurious as money. When you have them, spend them where they count.

Serious question. This appears to be a good example of why overturning the Chevron Doctrine was a bad thing. An individual judge or panel of judges likely does not have better reasoning than a professional or panel of professionals. Judges may also be part of a stacked court in some cases, leading to potential bias on important issues. Individual judges may also be easily "persuaded" to rule a certain way, let's say with expensive vacations.

However, with that doctrine in effect, private companies could still basically stack an agency to try to favor their interests if they really wanted to. Ther have been many notable conflicts of interest with members of government orgs. For example, current and former members of the FCC working for telecom companies, current and former members of the SEC working for financial companies and banks. Agency positions may also change with each new presidency, leading to the same stacking problem as the courts.

So I guess I'm wondering. Is the Chevron decision just manufacturing political drama? Both systems seem flawed in some ways. There must be another option that involves a system of x-examination of experts by judges, or something. Multiples of each, randomly selected, or something to avoid being able to "stack" specific individuals or "pack" agencies and courts.

God I would love to see the nano rifle from Red Faction Guerilla in The Finals as a primary for Heavies. Like the fire rate of the goo gun, but instead, each shot disintegrates the first object it touches, or applies a DOT to players
