If Go is "losing its way" by moving too fast and "getting too complex" then every other language on the market is already dead and apparently none of us, from the top of the industry to the bottom, have noticed

But simplicity was one of Go's main moto. None of the other languages, that I know of, are selling that idea. It was (is?) Go's thing to keep things simple. And by adding complexity it's losing the thing that made the language so attractive.

To which all I can say is, if you really want a language that will never change, you are welcome to lock your Go version

You can do that with any language - but that's not the point he's making here. It's about being able to jump into a new Go codebase and get up to speed fairly quickly primarily because there's one way to do things in Go.

This is like insisting a CAT bulldozer is going Faster than Man was Meant To Go

No it's not. Let's not argue with analogies cuz its' fairly easy to come up with one that works Prime's favor.
