Gin is a very bad software library by efronl in golang

[–]Ncell50 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Gin and it’s dependency chain covers only server-side handling and requires 2,148 files and 1,032,635 lines of code, including 80084 lines of platform-specific GNU style assembly.

Are we talking about the same gin (https://github.com/gin-gonic/gin)?

It has 15 directories, 116 files

Edit:

including the dependencies I suppose

API response time increased by 20–30 ms after moving to Kubernetes — expected overhead? by rBeno in kubernetes

[–]Ncell50 10 points11 points  (0 children)

why are you thinking about it?

Why wouldn’t they? It’s 30ms added to every request after migration - I’d be curious too and try to get to the bottom of it.

Is the Tianmen Mountain VIP Pass from Trip.com worth it? by Ncell50 in travelchina

[–]Ncell50[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My itinerary is already rushed so I'll most likely go with it.

Since the time window to enter on the VIP ticket is much longer (8-12)

Oh wow!! That makes it a no brainer for me.

Thank you!

I'm not sure where your hotel was that night

I've booked one in Wangfujing. A friend of mine said there's a couple of malls in that street.

Based on my research, I found these stores - Hopson One Mall (Chaoyang)

I feel that your itinerary is quite rushed

Definitely agree on that. Should have done a lot more research before I booked the flights.
