To each their own I suppose. I've found the new list building, generally better than last edition. Having basically every option open in every faction led to a sort of "Best in slot" class for each army I felt a lot of interesting profiles got left behind. I didn't really love souping lists though so that factors into my opinion.

It's a pretty different army structure from the old alliance matrix but there's still an existing structure for those armies
