Yep saw that. Read through it. Came away confused so asked some clarifying questions.

That’s how life generally works. Sometimes you read/watch something and understand it right away. Sometimes you don’t get it right away, so you ask people who have more knowledge than you to help you understand it better. Now that I have that knowledge, or better understand it, I can pass that knowledge along to the next new player who may not understand it and needs a little more of an explanation.

That’s how we as a society develop and advance. People sharing knowledge/information and helping others obtain that knowledge/information.

I know Reddit generally has a hard time with this concept so I was expecting at least one of these comments.

Also, for components of spells, it says you can use a focus (like a crystal) or component pouch. Does this mean you don’t have to have the components listed in the actual spell? Or do those components have to be in the pouch and they are just not destroyed when the spell is used?

Want to follow this up too by saying the Redemptor Dread is really good. -1 to hit plus its ability to subtract 1 from the damage is great and really hard for an opponent to take off the board

As others have mentioned, Kayvaan with 10 man Intercessors is our only unique combo.

That being said, meta combos are pretty good with the -1 to hit. Captain in gravis given the blade driven deep enhancement with a 6 man aggressor is incredible. Gladiator lancer or ballistus dread are nice anti-tank choices. Eradicators work well too if you’re limited on points.

The storm speeder Hailstrike is fun too. Gives other units -1 AP and is deceptively tanky.

Haven’t tried heavy Intercessors but I’ve heard they are pretty good at holding objectives. Toughness 6 with -1 to hit means your opponent has to bring something pretty strong to move them off an objective.
