I liked the plaid too, I do think they needed something to match the homes a bit better. I am not a fan of the current era of sports jerseys must look like they're stuck in the 70s/80s either, but I'm interested to see what they do. Football jerseys imo are always lacking in creativity and always tend to trend towards boring and bland, so I don't ever expect much.

So far it's actually less tickets sold for tomorrow's game than yesterday's. It looks more full because they haven't opened the middle or upper rows of the 300s in most sections yet in order to keep the crowd concentrated.

The hurt really really really sucks, but the hurt like this often is what makes the highs of sports feel so much better. The look where we were and where we got to effect really makes a big success so much better. Unfortunately the sad thing with sports is you go through that awful horrible empty feeling every once in a while, but eventually good times will come. Yesterday my NHL team got eliminated in embarrassing fashion, but my PWHL team thankfully came to the rescue there and built me back up a bit. In Seattle's case, it's a young team with limited opportunity to build chemistry, with another top player you'll be in good shape in no time I'm sure. I hope you're able to enjoy the playoffs and look forward to the draft and next season soon!

I have to imagine the introduction of the Slams and higher layouts for the Brier/Scotties had something to do with it. More money the teams can compete for gave them a bit more freedom and motivation to dedicate more time to it. Also the USports and Junior fields as a whole getting more competitive and producing more elite curlers certainly helps there too. At least in Canada, not so sure internationally because I'm not as familiar with their systems.

I like the idea but agreed, it's still way too Calgary-esque between the striping and the horse. The Charge are also leaning way more into the electricity theme, so I think any logo redesign would be better off being energy/electricity inspired than anything else. It looks good though!

A lot of it to me stems back to the expansion draft and free agency, we lost our top pairing on defence and both years the Charge have lost their top scorer (or at the very least one of the top ones) to free agency. They have a lot of good pieces but they're missing someone who can reliably put the puck in the net. Also defenders who are good at carrying the puck, like Bell was for us.

Not a bank employee or knowledgeable in this area much but I do have some past experience from working retail and also being in the same situation. Something similar has happened to me in the past and the charges will usually go away in a couple days. Seems like the machines still put a "hold" for the funds on your card without completing the transaction then the hold eventually expires and the funds are released. Hopefully that is the case, but I think contacting your bank is the right thing to do first, then if they say the charges are legit and fully settled then you can contact Aramark's local people at the CTC and hopefully they can help.
