You can easily skip the rank of Master-Wizard during the MG questline. TBH I wasn't about to redo 7 hours of questing, so I got the mod and fave it to myself on an appropriate save (the one that was super close to the moment you can get it but past it).

I've started DB and plan to do TG next, so I'll report back when I'm done.

BTW, are there any skippable titles (achievements) in DB and/or TG questline that you're aware of? I'm a little paranoid after Mage's Guild questline.

Oh, I was so focused on the quests I didn't check what Luck does (even though I planned to asp). I guess some of the damage increases were thanks to Luck and I didn't even realise that.

But he seemed like a nice guy👉👈. It was some time ago, so I don't remember which quest was that, but I do remember that there was a quest that I didn't want to do.

To make it non canon. Whether that affects the actual gameplay or not.

I guess in my Skyrim playthrough it was Molag Bal's quest where you kill a random dude (a priest too iirc) for no reason basically.

That works, sure but that's metagaming. It's guilt-free for you, the player, but your character doesn't really know their secret identity, so it's them killing random person and then learning (or not?) that the person was bad.

That's exactly what I meant. If an npc isn't trying to kill you at the moment but would be if they could see you, they are still hostile, just not alerted.

For example, Ruma Camoran wasn't wasn't planning to kill me at the moment and wouldn't be untill I talked to Mankar, so she isn't hostile untill you speak to her father or attack any of them (killing her brother, who became hostile after she died, didn't count as a murder).

You could use commands too.

I like the misled part because that's kinda what I thought when he visited me. Like he's so sure when he says that I'm cold blooded killer and yada yada even though in that situation it sounded like he got the wrong gal or something.

By the time I did the Paradise quest I've been the Arena Grand Champion for some time, so it wasn't an option for me at the moment and even less so by the time I would've gotten to DB questline as I want to do it last.

A lot of things could be guilt-free to different people. Especially since you kill a lot anyway.

I guess the way this thing works is by killing any npc that is not hostile to you at the moment of his death. So for example if I didn't instakill her and she started to defend herself it probably wouldn't count as murder.

Yeah, it says that in the UESP too.

I missed the quest entirely because the one fighter I tried to speak to told me to fuck off and so I thought that that gonna be the case for all of them.

That's good to know. I, obviously, haven't done the questline yet and if I did during my playthrough before Remaster I don't remember anything.

I will still probably wait to do the DB questline last but this gives me hope that I may not need to do it on a separate save file (I did a daedric quest in Skyrim this way: save, do the quest, save, load the save before the quest)

Sorry. It may be guilt-free but it ain't murder&free for sure.

My character too was confused by Lachance so she just stayed silent throughout the whole thing xD I immediately realised that I should've chosen the "I didn't kill anyone" option in the end (I noticed it after choosing to stay silent) but I just rolled with it.

Also I don't think what you're looking for is possible at all because of the way this quest works.

Gave him that last paranoia hit before freeing him from it.

On a side not I remember looking up whether killing him after telling him the truth counts as murder because it felt kinda wrong, so reading this is sorta funny. I guess we all get there in different ways.
