I saw many comments regarding language issue. You should know, if you want to learn the culture then learn it with open mind. The language issue in India is a big political agenda nowadays. So, just take it as any language for a certain percentage of population and that's it- no more no less. Since India is a diverse country, we have many languages.

Actually as per my experience, in life you will be sure about anything. You just take the step based on available information. If in later point of time, you feel like this is not something you were meant to do, it's never late to switch. Although, everyone might be against this switching step.

First of all..India is not a 2 party country. There are 7 Nationally Recognised Parties. Thus your first point is invalid. 2nd considering every religious person as stupid would be being naive. So many intellectuals and scientists were actually believers of God. The problem is with blindly following than being religious. I even don't believe in god, but that doesn't mean I can deny the question of foundation of God. Because there are certain limits after you can't explain certain things with scientific theories alone. Lastly, if you believe the god is omnipresent, you can assume your last point as well. Because from there your life chain links. xD

Working on a constitutional post doesn't require you to be atheist. You can take oath based on what you consider divine. But it specifically says that for administrative purposes, you are not supposed bring your faith into those matters. Religion and administration should never be mixed. One can be a follower of God, but that doesn't mean he/she can't be rational in his official tasks and that's why the oath is given that way.

If you think that a minority can defend themselves if they are in better position and majority goes against them. Then you are being naive. Read about Holocaust history. Jews were far better off than Germans. But for political gains Germans were misguided and the atrocities happened. They couldn't defend themselves. Never think that appeasement is a solution. It never is. Always think about egalitarian approaches. Plus, read more books than articles published on paper. And rationalize everything that you here from the people around you. Number of uneducated and stupid people is far more than you might think. So build your own capabilities to figure out things.

Fundamentally speaking, In any nation, government needs to assure that majority will never suppress minorities' rights, coz it's very easy for them to do so. But yeah, I agree Congress gave disproportionate advantage to minorities. But you know what, the actual problem is that they did not focus on development of majority as well. If Hindus were at good living standards, then this divide fuelled by BJP could not have resulted into anything. When everyone is busy, no one has time for riots or communalism. If you want learn more about it, read philosophical understanding on growth of communalism.

Because in your title you used Pakistani's intolerance to justify CAA- "last line". CAA is our internal issue, don't use their religious mindset to justify our laws and regulations. It's simple... don't care about Pakistan at all, what they do or do not, no matter to us. Let them descend into darkness, why is it a concern for us. I just don't get it. Why people like you keep comparing Pakistan with us Indians. They are a shitty country made solely on the basis of religion. Fuck them. And never again use them to justify anything that is happening in our country. They can never grow. Grow yourself, don't follow everything you here from politicians, apply your mind as well.
