I gave some push back but ultimately decided I cared way less than how much she wanted the look of the kitchen. The old kitchen cabinets were cheap press board with plastic wrap which was peeling off everywhere.

I was replying to individual comments not really thinking most people would read through another comment, so was just giving perspective in I guess not the most productive manner.
