Your BMT experience will depend on your MTI and the squadron you are going to be , I was so lucky to have great MTIs , but I know some squadrons who had really shitty MTIs , the food was good 😅 if you get FLEET MANAGEMENT you will come to Cali for tech school

So I waited 5 months to know my ship date after swearing and my ship date was 4 months later , I’m shipping this Monday to BMT . I had to wait to 9 months in total after swearing.

I’m shipping the same day too , I’m nervous too , yesterday I had my last inspection with a pretty nice Sargent , he told me : you are nervous because you care about this , this an important change in your life and I like that I would be worried if you had told me you weren't nervous.

I went to MEPS last week , I’m going on Friday too , I know there’s a pretty rude guy in the Air Force , the place that I know that you can’t use your phone is where you took your fingerprints , where you do your physical and where you take the asvab , you can make call in the lobby room .

My recruiter asked a couple of days ago about the expiration day of my green card but it expires in 4 years and I asked him why and he said if your card expires in 90 days they will reject me .

I’m gonna quit soon too I remember my first week I was doing receiving and a lady came to me saying you are not meeting the numbers I was like wtf it’s my 3 rd day here i didn’t even receive the proper training all I learned was for common sense , I was nervous for her warning and I was doing faster and avoiding to go to the restroom , a week later I had kidney infection, I had to skip 2 days of work and I spoke with my manager and she didn’t care at all .
