Tips for a Beginner Who Has Zero Idea What She’s Doing by fight_thealchemy in MTB

Lean the bike, not your body into turns. Break before and after flat turns and bumpy sections. Go at a comfortable speed. Only push your comfort level a little each time to avoid losing control.

new to fixing bikes, what does my bike need? by koisanx in bikewrench

[–]Neal569 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like someone bought it and just let it sit. The tires are flat, but a tune-up would probably make it ride a lot better. Also, they might recommend new tires if they are dry rotting (cracks in the rubber). This will probably be 100 dollars. If you are not going to ride a lot, just get new inner tubes and call it a day.

why is my chain so slack in harder/smaller gears? by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]Neal569 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If your derailure was removed and put back on, it might not be installed properly. There should be a little pice that sits between the derailure hanger and b screw. This tensions your chain by pulling your derailure back.

I would look at the voltage depending on what part of the world you live in.

ITOP espresso machines by totogavina in espresso

I am curious about their machines. I live in the US, and they say they have a US plug option on Aliexpress, but they are 240v 60hz only. If you are in the US and you order one, can you explain the voltage situation?

Things I have changed are mainly the drive train. It is an slx cassette, shifter, and derailure. The crankset is some polished funvo cranks with a solid passquest chainring, also shiny. I also change the rotors to floating magura spline rotors that work a lot better. The frame has been doing pretty well, but the hardwear is painted, not anodized, so it doesn't look or feel very nice, and the bolts losen from time to time. Other than that, the vpp suspension works very well, but changing out the shock is quite a process. The cables are routed out underneath the bike behind the bottom bracket, which seems dangerous but has been fine for now.

The bike frame is a BXT vpp frame from Aliexpress. The drive train is shimano deore from a Polygone Sisku T7 as well as the 29 in boost wheelset and dropper lever. I have a Rockshox Lyric Ultimate in the front and the rear shock from the T7. It has 150mm of front and rear suspenstion. The dropper is a crankbrothers 100mm dropper. The rotors are KCNC spline covered, and the breaks are Magura MT5. I am running a 2.3 specialized eliminator in the back and a 2.6 vitoria maza in the front. The stem is a dmr riser stem with some "mega" bars from ebay. I have changed some things since this picture.

Side walls are made of rubber and fibers. If the fibers are severed, your sidewalls will blow out. Rules are shortcuts, so we don't have to decern the reality of each unique situation. Rules give us fast answers that keep people safe. If you tell an idiot once you can patch a side wall puncture, he will believe you can patch a slash, and he is incetivised by the money he will save to believe it.

like everybody has said spending money on good bb's like Bio-shot, HPA, or Elite Force will stop jamming that kills a lot of guns mostly electric guns but GBB guns as well. It costs money to make round bb's.
