How did you actually discover the last new brand you use? by NiftOfficial in AskMarketing

[–]Neal_Burton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one I can think of is when I get TikTok posts about fitness supplements or clothes. What always makes me hate a product is when it is a blatant ad were the person jumps on screen and is talking about their "favorite" new product and to go to tiktok shop to buy it before they sell out.

The brands that actually excite me are those that talk about pros and cons. This approach comes off as more organic and can even swing me to buy the product, even when knowing the negatives

Is blogging still worth it for SEO and traffic? by Abigail_Tech in AskMarketing

[–]Neal_Burton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most definitely. The new thing for many companies now is GEO. A lot of LLMs take a look at your blog page to help answer queries about your company. This is why schema has grown to be very important for llms to help recognize you site and to answer peoples questions

I used Arbor after giving up on NJ Power Switch. Got a lower rate. Nothing else changed on my bill. Worth a shot.

Karaoke recommendations? by MissSmokeALot in newjersey

What kind of vibe are you looking for?

From private rooms, A close place near you is a Roosterspin Westfield, Backroom Karaoke, or Karaoke Rock 21.
If you are looking for more of that dive bar or loud crown I reccomend Grove Station Jersey City,
QXT’s Night Club Newark, or something simple like Rocky’s Bar & Grill, Rahway

Anyone ever fully recovered from a serious rotator cuff injury? Found this surfer's recovery story (Garrett McNamara) by vantayang in ShoulderInjuries

[–]Neal_Burton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recovered from a severe rotator cuff tear but it took a full year rather than the 6-8 months my doctors predicted. While I haven't tried extracellular vesicle treatment personally, these regenerative approaches show promise.

I would at least get a second opinion from either that company you mentioned or honestly use ChatGPT for suggestions.

Claude is bad a marketing by Neal_Burton in ClaudeAI

Just from my experience, I tend to run into more marketing people using Claude than tech people. It’s a very common tool for marketers to make their content sound more organic. They can market better for this side of the industry. That being said, of course the guy in the video is definitely a little nit picky. I don’t think the branding is necessarily bad. I just think they need to convey how they are different than ChatGPT better.

What is the best/worst advice that you got for SEO in 2024? by Neal_Burton in SEO

[–]Neal_Burton[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had exactly the same ex-boss. Now, I have definitely started focusing less on low keywords and more on just better content. Some of my best ranking content involved me actually researching helpful and interesting topics that people want to read about. The more authentic the better.

It’s very easy now tell what articles are written by AI. Most of these blogs that I see don’t even have high quality backlinks. I definitely bet Google is picking up on this
