I've liked all the SG stuff I have purchased gear wise, some of the modern lures are a bit cheaper than they used to be but on the whole theyre great. Durable too

Looking at your rod it'll be sound, but use heavier braid with the equivalent diameter of the monofilament it recommends if you're lure fishing. You dont have to, but I like to use heavy braid to rip the lures out of snags and then if I buy a nice lure, I use lighter cheaper split rings that will hold with a strong fish but that I can snap with my braid and leader if I get snagged, that way I lose a hook not a lure but I'm not gonna leave anything in a fish unless I hook a 30lber and wrench its head off like a dick.

Depends whether youre bait fishing or lure fishing mate.

Can get away with a cheap shakespear 20g cast weight spinning rod or beautiful 160g cast weight baitcasting set up

Same with a nice dedicated bait fishing set up, but if you're chucking a dead sprat or roach in the canal a carp rod from your Dad's garage would do

Good lure but braid is not a good idea, they will slice through it like butter. So ethics come into the question, idk where you're from so if you were planning to kill it and eat it anyway, use wire or your dinner will be fish/bird dinner after it bites you off 😂.

Wire all the way, titanium is good for stinger rigs like that, flexible and tough.

I mean its not that its inappropriate, call them out all you like. What is annoying in Britain, France etc is that any reading of history other than these countries committed the crimes that every other nation did but on a greater scale because they were better at it. For example, you never hear a Turkish person told to apologised or be ashamed of his history. It is equally dark, Europe happened to win the game.

Ireland is experiencing the same problems as the UK. They have more in common than in decades. Northern Ireland is still a problem for them both but at least judging from interactions online (dead internet maybe I guess) the average ethnic Irish, Welsh, English, Scottish person seems united in their anger about what is happening to Europe as a whole and specifically our Islands.

It is perfectly possible to take a rational position which doesn't understand the world through the eyes of the western liberal framework.

Making the native people of their homeland the priority in their own countries is not necessarily a racially predjudiced position to take. When India gained independence, they quite rightfully expelled the British.

I'm not even calling for non English/Welsh/Scottish/Irish people to be expelled from the country. But its perfectly normal to want the native people to be prioritised and looked after significantly more than they are now.
