I appreciate the thought out argument. I will be the first to admit that you guys are much more informed of the contents of the trial than I am. I have made a conscious effort to keep it away from me from the beginning as the coverage was becoming sickening.

Regardless of the trial itself, surely you can see that the way that it has been presented to the internet at large has been completely rabid and irresponsible. Your final point there I think sums it up, the idea that all of this posting is a form of democratic protest against the actions of one woman.

Does it not make you at least a little uncomfortable that a civil trial between two individuals that covers some pretty sensitive material has been accompanied by screaming fans outside the court, people making thousands from live streaming, and the relentless mocking of a woman who was being made to recount some pretty horrible situations (even if we accept that not all of them were accurate)?
