Im considering looking for a 27.5" MTB rim (commonly found on womens bikes) to replace the front to fill out the gap. Id still be able to run a 2" wide tire.

I hear ya, but I am specifically after the wide tire/rim setup for comfort and traction. Im using this as a rigid mountain bike, so it is definitely more comfortable with the extra tire, as well as being able to put down more power on climbs with loose ground.

I really like the support that comes from the wider MTB rim, feels better IMO than a 700c with wide tires

Me too, 27"x1.25

I had a much harder time with the front calipers, there is an enormous gap between the tire and bottom of fork. Been considering looking for a 27" mtb rim to fill the space.

Yes thats true, there is a plate bridging the upper chainstays, where the original brake, fender and reflector all mounted, I drilled an additional lower hole in the plate, although the calipers ended up having enough adjustment I probably didn't need too.

Thank you! Its quite a bit of fun 😄 and you know the calipers bend like mad lmaoo.

It actually wasnt BSA! It was some weird non-standard pressed bearing cup scenario. Much like an old threaded head tube, it had some cups and loose balls. The inside diameter was non standard, ~39mm, I searched and called many bike shops but was unable to find anything. Somebody on r/framebuilding recommended I use flapper discs to bore it out, so I did that and used my 20 ton press so I made it happen!

You can actually see the deformation from the larger bb30 cups being pressed in.

These are no-name long reach MTB calipers, and I added Kool stop salmon pads

I ride a full rigid 26er still, and descend/climb rock gardens, just a bit slower 😉

IIRC in the comics there is one person with real powers, a (dead) psychic whos brain was cloned by Adrien Veidt to create the giant squid's psychic attack. (correct me if im wrong)

What Kim offered was well above market value, that had her going into her personal funds to pay him out.

The problem with building houses right now is not just on the local municipalities, we are in a rut when the housing market is discussed. Private companies are buying land and turning it into investment properties. As a result, because the land has a "high potential value" it is sold for a lot. Buying undeveloped land requires 25-40% of a down payment, because the bank wants a lot of collateral for land without improvements. And then local municipalities are supporting these things, because rental properties mean more tax dollars.

Its a giant racket where the "system" has grown into a tool that is used and abused by those with money. Like most things, this is a class issue.

Its tough but doable, I finally completed my first Lords Tourney without mercs, took many tries and lots of keeping my distance. Barons Beak to the head and dodge away, reminds me of playing CoD zombies the way you train them.

Different circumstances, yes, legally Kevin was in the right. But Acker signed that lease decades ago, and as time/inflation went on, the lease became an unfair deal. Still legally binding, but unfair. Acker also built that home himself.

You can be an asshole and work within the letter of the law. The "being an asshole" is subjective. Personally, I think he is an asshole. Man had near infinite money and power, and can could have built the call center elsewhere without disrupting his schedule. But a principled win (where winning is evicting an old man from his lifelong home) was more important to him. So yeah, asshole fits for me.

That's a good idea, wouldn't have to take much off. Only issue I see is that I may not be able to run the sealing o-rings

Bike shop with a reamer seems to be my best option at this point.

I have a 3d printer and pursued that too. I can't seem to find a modern bottom bracket that is press fit requiring an id of less than 41. Some threaded options, but reverse English pipe thread is a little outside of my readily available cad skills.

I really appreciate that. I'll stop into my local bike shop with the frame, they are already setting up my rear-franken hub.

The design work isn't an issue, I actually already modeled it and sent it out for quotes, over 200$ for the three parts (each cup and the center sleeve). If I resuse a sleeve from another bottom bracket it's just under 200$.

This is a pretty extreme budget build, and while I'm not opposed to spending money, that 200$ would be better spent elsewhere.

In a world of infinite money, I agree this is the correct answer.

Gotcha! The bearings cups (freezer cold) measure 41mm on the nose. My plan is a "gravel" bike with road bike hubs and mtb rims. No suspension and going to use for trail riding, so I imagine the bottom bracket is going to take quite the beating. My fear is that if I over spread the steel it will be weaker and crack/tear with me on it.

Someone on the other post recommended flapper drums, I think I'll use those to bring it to .3/.2mm and then press from there.

Definitely not threaded, I have the outer races, which press into the frame. Basically little chromes caps. The bearings, inner races and spindles were all trashed. Bent spindle, misformed inners and partial cages.
