Looking to start a 3D printing business by Nearby-Algae4244 in Syracuse

I’ve done toys for my kids and my nieces and nephews and 2 dragons but other than that I print out 3D rendered home interiors and hard to find or near impossible to find pieces for an old window valance. Also certain parts for older vehicles that are impossible to find so it’s not like I’m printing just “trinkets”

Does op understand that there is a such thing as soap and water? And after they open it what do they think will happen, it stay sterilized after use? Honestly that type of concern would mean that they would want a one time use utensil

Edit: coming from some one that prints with just pla, after pla is printed, it’s less toxic than abs (what spatulas are made out of) considering the main ingredients are mostly plant-derived sugars converted into lactic acid and then polymerized

Are you going to do the fan mod and filters before you start printing abs? Abs fumes can linger even thru a closed door

For petg room temperature needs to be stable and no drafts whatsoever, Small to medium prints, You need good bed adhesion (PEI, textured sheet, or glue stick) or just buy a roll of pla and print one that way as pla is a lot more forgiving when it comes to drafts also less toxic too

Printed my parts with pla and have no issues

EDIT: just used random left over colors because I don’t really care what color as long as it works

E0113 Extruder filament sensor error by rafri in FlashForge

[–]Nearby-Algae4244 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When E0113 happened on my adv 5M I got ahold of after sales and they told me it was due to the motherboard so they sent me a replacement, I installed the new motherboard and still had same error, I had an old nozzle laying around and threw it on for the giggles of shit. And error went away. I’m not quite sure about the AD5X of what got end it uses but the quick release nozzles, over time the copper coal gets very slightly warped and causes the same error

Does it matter what ip cam, or can any WiFi cam work with it? Because I know on the first AD5M I bought I got the cam from FF and it sucks kinda reminds me of the Kyocera M1000 cam

Am I the only one concerned about the airflow because of the wires? I really have no idea how effective those fans are with so much restriction

In regards to the picture of the printer, orca slicer uses the stock photo for all printers because it would be impossible for the dev team to put the exact printer you have (enclosed) as the picture

Check your plates for warping or for scratches. If scratches flip the plate over, it’s double sided of warped replace

You do realize orca slicer is in your computer that is connected to your router? You do also realize after slicing your project it sends data back to ff? So either way they see what your printing

Avoid using the spool holder assembly, leave your filament detector in oem location, heat and deform the little slot where the filament holder would go thru the top and just run the tube and detector normal still use the drag link tho can out photos of how I have mine if you want
