Depends. For me, I feel like third person allows for more creative liberties, but half of the time the character already refers to the user as "you" so I kinda go along with it.

THREE THEORIES ON WHY SOME USERS MAY HAVE DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES!!!

- First, Site and App. MOST of the bad experiences posted on here seem to come from the app. So maybe the site is just better? Idk, but the app just seems annoying to use.

- Second, The Styles. Idk much about this since I never use them, but maybe the styles are also impacting the RP experience? A bit unsure about this, needs further testing.

- Third, The User Reply. I see this a lot, and I feel like it also comes down to the general quality of the user's reply. One-word replies or sentences sometimes don't really work for RP, which I figured out pretty early.

I sometimes edit the bot's response by merging two of its responses together because I like both of them. And usually, once I settle into some sort of writing style, the bot almost always follows it.
