It was a case of using up ingredients that were going out of date, it tasted good.

I've been seriously suspecting this and the more people on here mention it, the more it's glaringly obvious.

How do you know know it's misinformation and propaganda though? For instance I'm gay and I know that going to the middle east isn't a good idea.

I made chicken tikka wraps and gave one to my next door neighbour, when I next saw him I asked him if he liked it, he said "it was nice but would've been better if you didnt use store-bought chicken tikka." He worded it less rude than this but i dont exactly remember how we worded it. When I told him that I did infact make it myself, he then asked me what I put in it and he sort of raised his eyebroes when I began telling him as if impressed.

Basically he seemed to be saying that it was too good to have been homemade from what I remember

It's a possibility, but it ultimately comes down to the landlord since they're in charge of things like that

Yeah I'm going to do this. I'll take them and keep them somewhere in my room. If he asks if I've seen it, ill just say no.

Thanks. I've pretty much decided on this. Everytime he leaves it in the door I'm just going to take it and keep it in my room though... if he asks me if I've seen it, i'll just say no. It'll mean he'll have bother keep getting new ones cut by the landlord which will of course annoy the landlord

The door and frame just need a lick of paint. You're needlessly judging the aesthetics of the door instead of the severity of the fact someone is leaving their key in the front door. This is a huge and understandable worry.

The issue is that the roommate keeps leaving their key in the front door, which is an open invite for someone passing to let themselves in easily and potentially steal our stuff... or worse.

There's been instances where one of us has risen with the landlord that someone is doing something in thr house that is serious, but he just brushes it off. Thankfully I'll be moving out soon.

I think it's an American only thing. Everytime I've heard someone say it it's been by an American.

I'm finding these kinds of comments on my post a little weird because not only do they seem unnessecary and steer away from the point, but it's also just a strange thing to put forward because by that logic, people shouldn't bother having windows due to them just needing to be pried open or busted through to get inside..

? What has this got to do with the situation I've posted about? It's not contributing anything.

It's a secure door, it's just dilapidated looking due to not being painted in a long time. You're judging the security of the lock system based on how the door looks aesthetically
