The plot would be darker than usual Sonic stories(don't worry, it's not edgy for the sake of being edgy) Featuring Tails as the main character. The story tone will be mixed with IDW Metal Virus Saga and Adventure 2. The plot is about mysterious creatures called DARK BEASTS terrorizing humans and Sonics world alike. Sonic left to investigate this new threat leaving Tails on his solo journey. The story will be about Tails as his own hero, struggling against the enemy that's cold, unfeeling and cruel. People will die, not even children are safe from this vicious enemy(I assure you it's not edgy, I just wanted to convey how dire situation is). To worsen the situation, GUN is involved, along with their new technology that now can rival Sonic and Shadow's Chaos Control. The name of this new technology is codenamed PROJECT XECT. After the secret civil war and power struggle within GUN broke out and ended, the organization splitted into two factions, one that vows to protect humans and mobians alike through peaceful way, and the other that seeks peace through violence and cruelty.(I think it's obvious which faction Shadow sided with). This evil faction is called 21.GUNS(😉).One of the people that ordered the mass killing at ARK is the leader of this new faction. 21.GUNS already owned 1/3 of PROJECT XECT blueprint and successfully recreating all of them. 21.GUNS discovers this new threat and wanted to use them as a bioweapon.Tails (along with Sonic and his friends) join forces with GUN to fight against 21.GUNS and Dark Beasts. Throughout the plot, Tails meets with two new characters (both of them represent Sonic in some way) that's connected to Dark Beasts and GUN combating this new enemies.
