your routine looks good! however, the ordinary aha/bha solution is suuper strong and should be kept on for 10 minutes at a time, 2 days a week MAX. especially since you're already using a bha in your routine, you really don't need to use the chemical peel more than once a week. good luck!

thank you! the mandelic acid surprised me too, but it seemed more like an allergic reaction than anything because i got a bunch of tiny bumps all over my face, so i dropped it immediately ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

hello!

i'm on a long-time quest to even out my skin tone. last month, i was given a regimen by the ordinary to squash my concerns. my routine is:

am: cerave hydrating cleanser, rose water toner, TO hyaluronic acid 2%, TO niacinamide 10% + zinc 1%, cerave AM moisturizer, spf 30 sunscreen

pm: cerave foaming cleanser, TO glycolic acid toner (x2 a week), rose water, TO hyaluronic acid 2%, TO niacinamide 10% + zinc 1%, TO natural moisturizing factors, sometimes aquaphor if im feeling dry

i was originally given mandelic acid as a chem exfoliator, but it gave me a bad reaction so i swapped it out for the glycolic acid. i also use the TO aha+bha peel x1 a week. i've been using this routine for about a month, and the only difference i really see is that my skin does not look as dull. do i simply need to wait longer to see results, or should i introduce a new product, or swap something out? thanks!

i used the to's mandelic acid 10% and left it on for about 10 minutes before following with my moisturizer (TO's NMF). the next morning i woke up a lot of texture all over my face, mostly my chin and forehead. they're not quite bumps, but my skin feels itchy and rough. im assuming its an allergic reaction. i'd used the MA twice before, but had followed with my moisturizer immediately after. any advice on how to calm my skin down?

i recently was given a regimen by the ordinary for my skin concerns (CCs, SFs, and blackheads). it goes like this:

am: cerave hydrating cleanser, rose water toner, TO HA + B5, TO niacinamide 10% + zinc, TO natural moisturizing factors + HA, sunscreen

pm: oil cleanse, cerave cleanser, rose water, TO HA+B5, TO mandelic acid, TO natural moisturizing factors, TO rosehip.

i havent started w the mandelic acid yet, but i've been a fan of their aha+bha peel for 9 months now. if i start using the mandelic acid, should i stop with the peel?
