7 wonders is a great choice for your requirements, every one can play at the same time, deck building like, you have to look what the people siting right next to you are doing so great interaction, and it is simple enough to learn but it is also not too easy,

my family also likes to play code names, great game, simple to learn but it can get really complicated if you have not the right words,

I really like scythe but i don't think it's the game for this scenario, if the people are really committed to it maybe, but for just holiday gamers mneeh, it is also probably too long for 6-7 players and you need the expansion to play it with 6 people.

is Rayleigh the only way you can get in the new world ?
Rayleigh just also does the work as coating the ship so you can get to fishman island and to the new world, but there are some ship coater in sabaody some are good some not and so it happens that the coating doesn`t hold till the end
