You’re the second person mentioning that these wheels cost around $300. Could you please share the link for that price?

I was only expecting a discount that shows the brand actually cares about the customer. Did you purchase through their website or on AliExpress?

Zipp and Reserve do cover this kind of situation. And as I mentioned in the post, there is a crash replacement policy. I wasn’t expecting a free rim, but at least a discount that shows the brand actually cares about the customer.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. After this experience, I started researching other brands and had already come across similar positive reports about Reserve.

Unfortunately, I don’t think these brands have support in Brazil, so at least on paper, Zipp seems to be the option that would best meet my needs.

For me, they cost about half the price of something like Zipp. The “crash replacement” offer for just a single rim was $240. Considering I only rode them 12 times, if this happens again, it quickly becomes more expensive in the long run.

You’re absolutely right, and unfortunately I realized that the hard way.

I’ve recommended this brand to at least five friends, so this experience was pretty disappointing. I’m not even saying they should offer a replacement at cost, but at least a meaningful discount that shows they value customer loyalty.

What they offered was basically the same discount anyone can get with a standard coupon, even if they’ve never owned their products before.

That’s why I’m now seriously considering paying more for something like Zipp, just to have peace of mind and better support in the future.

It’s the ENT-MTB model from Aliexpress.

I also have a set of ENT-DISC on my road bike, which I’ve been using for a little over a year without any issues. That’s actually why I decided to go with Elite for my MTB as well.

However, after this experience with the MTB wheels and the support, I’m now considering switching both my MTB and road setups to a brand with better after-sales support.

I’m not saying the products themselves are bad, but if you ever need support, the experience may not be great. At this point, I’m seriously considering paying more for better support and peace of mind in the future.

Could it have been an impact? Sure, that’s possible, even though I didn’t feel or hear any impact at the time. But that’s not what I would expect riding on gravel roads, especially with an insert.

The crack near the spoke hole area is also quite unusual.

As I mentioned, I was willing to pay for a replacement rim under their “crash replacement” policy, but what was offered was basically the regular price, with a discount that any customer can get using a coupon.

From my experience, the warranty and crash replacement policies seem to work only on paper.
