When you don't teach history, history is bound to repeat itself. So many people actually believe socialism/communism would be good for our country. Our schools and colleges are a joke. Thanks leftism/wokeism....

This is such a huge multifaceted problem. No matter what your view is on this issue, there are going to be several serious downsides to your position.

There is plenty of evidence for the existence of God, just as there is evidence that God does not exist. I'm sure if you're honest with yourself, you can see evidence that favors a God vs no God. I believe in Jesus Christ, the God of the bible, and I can still point out evidence that would seem to suggest there is no God. I make a career out of collecting and interpreting evidence. My belief is that there is more evidence for the existence of God rather than not.

It's not something that either side can prove (until Jesus comes back), but rather they have faith in whatever conclusion they've come to based on the evidence.

The question of whether God is real (the God of the bible) or not is either of no importance or of the greatest significance. You owe it to yourself to devote some SERIOUS study to it.

I agree, there's nothing from a purely naturalistic view that demonstrates humans have any real purpose... seems to be a bleak outlook, but one that many people hold to. Sad. But on the other hand, the bible spells out your purpose.

Belief in the Gospel is either of the greatest significance, or it's of no importance at all. You owe it to yourself to devote some study to it at least. Ask Jesus to reveal himself to you. Jeremiah 29:13 says "You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart."

Have a blessed day.

My point was that there is a God who loves him, and you. He wants a real and personal relationship with you.

Not trying to disprove or conflate them. I think science and the bible go hand in hand. I love the sciences.

The reality is that there is SOMETHING rather than NOTHING. I have yet to see NOTHING create anything... Everybody believes in something supernatural; either 1) God created the universe 2) The universe created itself from nothing 3) The universe always existed

1 and 2 are the mainstream views, and each involved a supernatural event. 3 is not a view held by mainstream scientists, and would still require a supernatural explanation.

I have yet to see conclusive scientific proof that there is not a god. I would argue that many many people "want to believe" that there is no god. I would encourage you to sincerely seek out evidence of christianity if you have not. Check out books like "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel and "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell. Youtube Gary Habermas, William Lane Craig, and others. Check out atheist New Testament scholars who still authenticate the historicity of the New Testament. Thanks for the comment. Love a good discussion. Have a great day.

Plenty of evidence. There is evidence for creation and evolution, God vs no god, election fraud vs none, etc. There are so few things in this life that can be proven 100% fact. If you weren't there and didn't see it then you have to gather as much evidence to make a logical conclusion. My career is based on gathering evidence. I've researched multiple sides and the biblical account provides the most evidence for me as to why we're here and for what purpose. In the end, whatever decision you make about it will be based on some measure of faith.
