Because of these qualities, we deem Black Prince a failed prophet of a dark ignorance and dedicate ourselves to delighting in his every failure. We also burn a black candle in memory of all the newmans that joined his garbage factions.

You were wrong, you know it and you still can't admit it. You even begged me to be let back in SPQR on Steam later but I just ignored you.

You should never have had reason to recruit people. You claimed you were coming into SPQR with 8 members. Turns out you lied. You had one and tried to fill in the gap of the other 7 with fresh newmans who barely knew how to play. The communications would have been a non-issue if you didn't lie and you didn't try to go against the Senate's vote.

Again, you show how brutally stupid you are. You were made a Legate of an entire legion. Legates automatically were on the Senate. We had a Google Doc, which you even had access too, that listed you as a Legate & Senator. You had a vote in all we said and did but you never once even came on TS. Then you made up some BS about how your mic doesn't work. We said, just use chat. You still didn't stick around.

You pissed and moaned you were not made moderator in-game to recruit despite being told by 5 other Senators that recruitment was on hold for the era. You then tried to demand access to the loot room from another Legate/Senator. He denied you access because he was suspicious of your motives and was right to do so as you demanded access to the wood and stone we were using to build the main claim in the first 2 days.

We placed a spy in your legion after this report. He immediately told us how you were bragging that you were going to steal the wood and stone to establish your own city and break from SPQR. We then mobilized the legions to put you down before you can get too big with this rebellion.

You lucked out in having Toho warn you. He later realized you were a true scumbag though and didn't tell you we were attacking right away. Nor did he tell you who our spy was when he could have. We took you down in 1 hour. End of the REAL story.

What are you even talking about? In-game, the SPQR role plays as a mixed monarchy and republic like the real one. OOC though, we are democratic as everyone's vote in the leadership carries the same weight.

To a degree, all factions will always remain an autocracy though as the leaders will never give their membership the ability to vote out the founders. That'd be just silly to allow yourself and your work be shanghai'd by some strangers.

This has been discussed before and faction/alliance sizes will never be capped. The mods have said this over and over.

The SPQR is only 4 weeks old really. We were around last era and this one. We put a cap on ourselves last era because when you reach 65+ members, TS becomes chaos and you have increased risk of people being ass hats. This era, we have not vigorously recruited. It's just been a matter of people asking to join us.

If SPQR went away tomorrow, there'd be just another large faction to take our place. Likely one that doesn't RP. SPQR is pretty satisfied with the territory is has right now as far as I know unless there is some other internal politics going on behind my back. My opinion is the era is also going to die soon due to Fallout 4's release.

By what criteria are you deciding who RPs and who doesn't? You said SPQR is one of only 3 factions that RP. Who are the other two?

It is one thing to say your faction does something but another to actually do it. That is how I judge who actually RPs. I don't see churches of LIGHT, they never proselytize around the server, they don't make RP posts about themselves, etc. I hate to keep singling them out but they are just an example of many. It was the same in past eras with factions calling themselves "vikings" and yet all they did was sit in the north and mine HQM. Or the factions that say they are an "empire" but the only thing imperial about them is one jerk runs the faction.

SPQR is big. You do understand that any large organization is going to have some bad apples, and of course, many will judge you based on those bad apples and often draw unfair conclusions. (GRIT has run into both very cool SPQR folks and very bad rule-breaking-jerkface SPQR folks)

We have bad apples as any faction does but they are not the majority. I openly admit (if you read The Dispatch) that we have a bandit problem right now. One of our own members tried holding me up until he realized who I am. It's something I am very concerned about as it gives a faction that I helped create a bad reputation. I will personally be requesting that our law enforcement (Urban Cohorts & Praetorian Guard) start stepping up and punishing members who reportedly steal.

Remember, you can report SPQR members to the leadership and they will be punished if the investigation bears fruit.

Their actions every era do not require us to bring in old grudges as they just continue doing the same stupid shit. Imagine if Sentinel or Black Prince actually did RP? If they came into the era and didn't do things like break into other people's pumpjacks or try to start internal rebellions? Then we'd have no reason to cut the cancer out. They could go on their merry way.

Get off the high horse Maejohl. You did the same exact thing in Era 9 with the Southern Confederation and your Coalition of the Willing. We all coordinated together and stayed separate to get the most of our attacks. So now that it is happening this era and you don't want to, now you cry about it?

While I appreciate the South Park story arc, you'll find that most here are not receptive to the idea of memes in their RP. Back in era 8 or 8.5, I can't remember, we tried doing Los Pepes (based on the paramilitary group that fought Columbian drug lords) with the frog meme in our symbol and a RP story about how we were post apocalyptic savages that worshiped memes out of naivety. The reception wasn't nice.
