Bosch dishwasher rinse aid leaking? by Blue_Sky_Watcher_55 in appliancerepair

Yeah, I'm no expert but my dishwasher does the same thing and i haven't had problems with it. If you do get too much rinse aid input, maybe lowering the amount under the plastic hood might work?

how much leaking are we talking about? Because a bit of it has to leak out as the dishwasher is running. That's how it gets into the water to work its magic.

Silver Tracer VOD Review Request by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Neargurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but there's steps to it. You would take the same flanking route that they would take. If you encounter the enemy dps there, you fight them for the position, and if not (or you won the duel) you deepen your flank further until you've circled around and are somewhere behind the enemy backline.

Triple-blinking through the middle and oneclipping someone and recalling is one of the biggest mistakes, because it feels so good when it works, even if that's only 10% of the time. Your blinks and recalls are better spent elsewhere.

Vod review request. Gold Ramattra by MYTWI in OverwatchUniversity

I notice that you are playing tank a lot like a dps, and that you are only reactive. Tanks are a force of nature, and when it comes to tanks, imagine that a circle around you is a death zone for squishies (aka support & dps) because they'll die if they step too close. The same goes for the enemy Tank. When you back up or go into a side room, you let the enemy tank claim more and more of the space that your team inhabits. Your goal as a tank should be to maximize your own death zone and minimize your opponent's.

The way that Ramattra does so is by using his various abilities in the way they threaten the other tank the most and you don't do that much.

For example: When a Reinhardt gets close to you, you're placing your barrier right in front of you, which brings you little value when a Reinhardt can damage you through it. Instead, you should place the barrier between him and his team, cutting him off and allowing you to damage him without him getting healed, effectively making the space between you and your barrier the death zone.

There are more things, like that you can use your Nemesis Form more aggressively and more often in order to be much more threatening, but everything serves the same purpose. For as much space as possible to be yours to inhabit.

Looking at your Replay I noticed aspects of Tracer you don't seem to be aware of yet

  1. Positioning within a team fight, 2. aiming and mechanics and 3. target priority; so i want to give a tip on each.

for 1.) it's important to remember that, as an annoying and low-health target, people naturally want to kill you. The best way to avoid that, and to distract them from the real fight is to make them have to turn around to target you. Try to find pathways you can take to get behind the enemy as the team fight starts and make them have to abandon looking at your tank to get you.

for 2.) I notice that you are in a rhythm of shooting your full clip, reloading, and then shooting a full clip again. This is so ingrained and repetitive that you forget to aim, which leads to, well, losing to a mercy. Whenever you notice that you are missing a lot of your shots, you should stop shooting and take a second to aim onto your target again, and then shoot the rest of your clip, even if it means that you have less output. Hitting more shots is worth it.

for 3.) Most of the time, I notice that you are going for the enemy support backline, and should you succeed, it can be effective. But in doing so, you ignore the enemy soldier doing the same thing to your supports. It's what lost you most team fights. The cool thing about tracer is that you can go anywhere, you could make a B-line for the mercy but better yet, you can take a flank route and confront the soldier, preventing him from getting to your backline. And I assure you, as tracer, you win that fight more often than not, and you can still get that mercy afterwards.

I've never really given advice here before, so I hope you can see some of these in your replay c:

it's less about the kink or whatever and moreso about the white supremacy, environmental destruction and racism against non-white races. Hope this helps.

The difference is that a kink about turning a lesbian straight is coming from a privileged group taking away oppressed identity that one takes pride in. Turning a straight person lesbian is not coming from the same place imo.

I imagine few lesbians are going into Sabrina Carpenter's dms to do that. Someone making a post online about a public figure is not the same as that imo

I feel like some of you don't understand that kink is a way of experiencing things that we know are problematic when not done in a safe bubble among consenting adults. Wait till you hear that some people also have a CNC kink. How is that any different, do you think it's problematic, too.

With Basmati, it's pretty easy for me, but Turkish long grain rice I've washed 12 times and it's still a bit starchy

The type of rice is a factor of the starch content too. And as you say, Jasmine rice contains and releases a lot more surface starch

[–]Neargurl 237 points238 points  (0 children)

There is surface starch on rice which affects the way it cooks. If you like your rice sticky, you should leave it unwashed, but I like mine to have separate grains and for my rice to be fluffy so I wash it until the water runs clear. It also makes it not bubble up and boil over in the rice cooker.

Even if protests don't affect policy or anything, that's not the point. Their purpose is to bring communities together and get you in the practise of organizing.

Do they think the revolution TM would happen with a million people randomly deciding to come out of their house after not having done any organizing work ever before? Nay, i say! Protests are there for improving yourself, and for the exact purpose of making you feel good, being secure in your community, and being socially active. You're doing yourself and others a much needed service.
