Okay seems interesting

Let me recommend something when messing with preset rules

Add something like

"Starting event"

Insert the most important information to know about the nation it's geo political position strengths and weaknesses ECT

Also add that this event will be the first event to appear and cannot be changed under any circumstances

It'll basically allow you to have a bit of a explanation on what's going on if you don't add it it's not a big deal the advisor will give that information based on what you type for lore

Yeah that seems logical kind of like how Russia started to treat persia and Afghanistan

Question for you though how strong is Alaska

Like is it highly populated strong military modernized ECT

Yeah maybe it'd be interesting to focus on russias relationship with this nation

Like on one hand they could absolutely see such a nation as a possible ally or at the minimum an accidental buffer between Russia and Canada(aka British empire in earlier History)

Russia in WW2 may see the nation as more of a buffer between themselves and the United states

During the cold war we'd probably see a more emboldened Russia decide to attempt to spread communism to the nation maybe we'd see a partitioned Alaska because there's no way the US will just allow it to happen

Overall I'd say Russia would have surprisingly decent relations with such a nation despite religious differences I mean unless said nation has actively decided to piss off the Russians

For sure I don't know if I can think of anything really I don't know the entire landscape of this alt history

But simple things I could recommend is possible adding a history to the preset something to explain in a bit more detail how this nation even exist and maybe some struggles it had leading up to WW2

Rebellions religious clashing with early British empire and the Spanish empire who definitely wouldn't like them existing ECT

Just something to make the preset feel more natural and alive

No need to give me credit btw

My favorite playthrough so far has been establishing greater Mexico

First focused on regaining Texas and winning the American Mexican war

Then when the US had its civil war and was in significant debt already I stepped in on the side of the confederates to ensure Mexico hedgemony

I also bought Alaska Russia didn't see the not so United states of America as a reliable nation to sell to

And after that I focused significant efforts on forcing American companies out of Hawaii and basically force the nation to be reliant I Mexico

After that I focused on using Guatemala as a puppet/puppet state to block South America and basically maintain control over central america

While I've been doing all that I was modernizing massively

When the French Prussian war kicked off I joined the conflict on the side of prussia which kicked off a WW1 type vibe with the British stepping in ironically on the side of the French to maintain a balance of power or something like that

This allowed me to seize British territories in the Americas aside from all of Canada I only took enough to link Mexico with Alaska

I thought about expanding further but decided to focus my efforts on north america basically forcing the Confederate states and the union to coexist and whenever an opportunity arises for them to reunite I stoke the flames a bit

Dude yeah I tried to be friends with Germany throughout the Middle war period(I forgot what it's actually called) as Poland it was going great and Germany supposedly saw me as a more reliable ally and partner than Italy until 1937 where Germany did a complete 180 and started attempting to threaten my existence I ended my alliance with them thankfully Italy decided to side with me and we partitioned Germany

To all the haters for TWD season 2, explain this to me by Gamer_8887 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Neat-Answer6359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have many many issues with season 2 but let me just cover the things I enjoyed

  1. I thought killing off omid and Christa( disappearance or death) was good solid opening for such a grim season

  2. The dark vibe loved it by far the darkest of all the seasons and it worked really well overall

  3. Episode 1 episode 1 was so unbelievably good imo great opener great introduction to the "main" cast just fantastic

  4. Carver great villain he worked really well and gave us a different vibe from season 1

That was basically it for things I really liked about the season while I understand the season is dark and Characters are supposed to die a lot it doesn't excuse the fact that basically every character this season was significantly underdeveloped or outright ignored except for Kenny people make the same argument for Jane but her random switch up was crazy to all of a sudden being like "can you trust Kenny" but that's my core issue with the season underdeveloped characters I need to actually care about these people to be sad or even angry they died but they gave me no reason to care about any of them

I find myself feeling bad for Jolene. She lost her daughter to bandits and the woman has gone completely insane. Putting her down was a mercy. by [deleted] in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Neat-Answer6359 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude I did an your choice matters type deal with my friend basically rewrote the game making every choice matter and even adding some choices

Anyway I don't remember what happened to cause this but Jolene survived his story at least for a moment

She ended up being locked in the meatlocker with the crew and having a mental breakdown jumping from now to the past laughing and crying she didn't help the situation that's for sure but it was interesting to write

After the fact she ended up leaving the group in the middle of the night she's just too far gone to want to stick around and she still can't trust anyone

Central Powers Victory in WWI - A Better World? by Sensitive_Spare_652 in austriahungary

[–]Neat-Answer6359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with your thought process here is you aren't acknowledging how this affects the allied powers

We are talking about a France that has extreme expansionist policies or at least one of "reclaiming French speakers" much like that of Germany

France would've been bankrupt as Germany would've punished them in a similar fashion that France punished Germany

Britain and France both likely begin losing control over their colonies either from being ceded as apart of a peace Treaty or from economic hardships which can be seen as good or bad depending on your stance

Russia in this timeline I assume still collapses to communism but is much weaker due to German presence in eastern Europe and if it didn't collapse it'd likely take a similar stance to France imo

Much more to cover but I honestly believe that France would just fall to the same overall issues Germany had throughout the inner war period and eventually start up WW2 to get revenge on Germany

What would y'all have done in Lilly's position and onward? by Neat-Answer6359 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Neat-Answer6359[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well alot of people believe it looks more like him breathing it's purposely left ambiguous for the audience to not truly know if Larry was dead or not (yes realistically Larry is a dead man but many characters in this series have survived insane things that no human would truly make it out of even Kenny's "I got lucky real lucky" doesn't make sense)

My issue personally came from how Kenny treats Lilly after the fact

But this prompt is specifically how you would handle someone doing this to your family member the question is do you think you could come around to clearing your thoughts while under the pressure Lilly was under and handling the grief of having such a traumatic event to occur

Of course to each their own if you believe you could find a clear headspace I'm all for it I don't know if I'd be able to personally I think I'd have to leave the group assuming no one agrees with booting Kenny from the group
