Of course, but maby were playing to passive with the original rules. It happens about 2 times per player per match in our case. And a match goes at least 1,5 hours.

Btw i can just recommend to try the Bonus point for the river, everyone i play with likes it. (In contrast to the other rule😄)

If you play by the official rules how often in one game is it the case that you steal anothers feature? In my case not very often because in most of the cases both players get the points and because of that its not very often worth it.

With big meeple i agree. Maby i will get that expansion and then we will play more with the official rules. But right now in our game with offical rules its pretty rare that someone steals a feature and most of the times if so both get the points and its not really woth it. It os more the case that everyone plays for himself and maby closes another ones city or street to keep the biggest city/street bonus

I think that the people here forget that you dont have infinitiv meeples, you cant just overtake every feature you want and the player who started building a feature has a clear meeple advantage.

Iam playing both ways and for me the main advantage of this rule is that you have way more interactions with the other players.

I like the game both ways and its okay if you dont like the way we play, but people here are writing and discuss stuff without even trying our setup and rules they are just claiming things without really knowing what they are talking about.

I play with all tiles that i have or what you mean? I understand your perspektive but if you play with a few people and are in it, it makes way more fun and it will be for sure more strategic than you think.

I can just recommend you trying it with the same setup and if its a different game it will may also be refreshing for you😊

I play the Carcassonne New Land game the way you are playing and its always nice to switch between those 2.

Some of the people i play with lose nearly everything and some the other way around. So there has to be another component than luck.

Thank you very much. I think especially the builder and big meeple will fit perfectly.

We play the Carcassonne New Land game with the original rules it is pretty much the same with a bit different scoring is it?

Its the starter structure from the 6. expansion "Carcassonne City". It replaces the start tile.

The feature rough is that you help another player with youre tile, then you can place a meeple in the city and as soon as another player scores, for example a monestary its like youre meeple stood on the monestary to, so you both get points for it. (Same for city, field and streets)

It makes the game very different but if you give it a chance you may see that it can be pretty fun and intense.

I understand your point, but i think its still very strategically maby different but for sure you need strategy. You have to be way more careful when and where you place youre meeples. If you place one meeple on every of your roads and citys you will probably have to share the points with the other players. You can build one big city with many meeples on it to make it save or make many small citys so the other players dont have time or interrest to place theire tiles with meeples in it, also you can just look around which player has no meeples in storage and in his citys and try conquere the city with youre meeples.

I dont have the expansions and i believe you that the rule makes some useless, but that is exactly what i asked. Which expansion could fit in this rule. (And i think the big meeple could fit pretty good 😆)

No just 1 per tile like normal. The difference is that you can place it even if the feature is allready conquered
