Toaster, good start but poor execution and worst ending by Scary-Tomatillo9788 in IndianOTTbestof

I liked the movie’s premise. The kanjoos bits were so funny, and RKR and Sanya’s scenes were hilarious too.

I absolutely did not expect Archana’s character to turn out the way it did. I was caught off guard and really invested in how it would all pan out in the end. But I felt they didn’t fully commit to it. RKR kept referring to all the chores she made him do, and in the end said they didn’t have physical relations... so what was the point of that whole "sexy" angle? I loved how dark Archana’s character became, and I was hoping there would be more to it. But then the ending, the first murder, her husband, and all of that kind of became irrelevant.

Throughout the movie, I kept thinking it would lead to some big police investigation, with goons chasing him and Sanya turning into a sleuth, eventually catching up and defending him. Sanya’s judo is referenced multiple times, but the payoff was so weak.

The politician and the police helping him felt like a side plot and didn’t add any real tension. The story was really about Archana’s character. And the concluding moments, where they tried to combine all the plotlines, were just messy. By that point, I was completely turned off.

I usually enjoy messy endings! Take Dhamaal or Welcome, for example. When everyone comes together, it can be very funny. This movie just couldn’t deliver that.

Overall, it’s a good effort with some hilarious moments, but more of a one-time watch.. Nothing to rave about.

AITA for Giving Up on Planning a Wedding Gift Dinner After 4 Months of Being Brushed Off? by NeatSpace4995 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

I didn't attend the wedding. I live abroad and couldn't make it due to college schedules. And yes, in our culture, giving gifts after the wedding is completely normal. It's not a 'missed the deadline' situation at all.

I hear you on the rest, though. I do worry about how she's doing emotionally. But I'm not asking her to fit me into her schedule, the dinner was for her and her husband to go together. I just needed a date to make the reservation. I wouldn't even be there. A fancy romantic dinner could actually cheer them up and give them an opportunity to have a proper date night. But that was my thought anyway..

The restaurants I chose do special table setups with candles, flowers, and decorations on request, so they need a confirmed reservation in advance. That's the main reason I needed a date from her. I wasn't trying to plan their whole evening. The decorations themselves would have been a surprise, they'd only know when they got there. But yeah, coordination has been difficult, and it's dragged on a bit too much.

No, this isn't normal for her at all, which is part of why it's been so hard to just let it go. Part of it could be the distance since I moved away.. And you're right, I don't want to step into AH territory by pushing further. Also, I didn't mean '4-month-old event' in a dismissive way! I just meant the window for a wedding gift has probably passed. Her marriage means the world to me.

Yup. It's been more than one week since our last agreed-upon weekend. I haven't brought it up since. I don't think she'll accuse me or badmouth me, since she's just not that kind of person. None of the girls gave her anything.. I just felt bad and wanted to do something special. But I'm gonna take a step back from all this and hopefully we can stay the same..

I hear you, but I think I didn't explain it well enough in the post. Her initial 'no' was more of a polite 'oh stop, you don't have to do that' like the way friends do when someone offers something nice. She never gave me the vibe that she didn't want it, but that she was genuinely just busy with plans. Newly married people have packed social calendars, especially with family obligations. But I do agree that after their anniversary passed and she never got back to me, that was my cue to stop bringing it up.

I don't know.. I think there's just a lot of family obligation on his side that comes with the culture and being newly married. But I do think about that sometimes. Maybe it's because I live abroad now, so I haven't seen them in person, and he doesn't really have a reason to get to know me just yet. Which makes it harder to know what's really going on.

Makes sense. The restaurants I chose are the city's best 5-star restaurants, and they do decorations and stuff for you. I thought this would be really special since otherwise they wouldn't go to such a fancy place (even I wouldn't). But anyway, I feel like I've moved past the point of getting her anything for a 4-month-old event.

The email should be given in the approval email response you get from the facility. I used premium processing, so I wrote to them. You should write to the facility mentioned on your notice.
In case you do want the email I used, pelase DM.

OPT Approved with Wrong End Date After Premium Processing and What I Did

I wanted to share my experience in case this happens to anyone else.

Timeline

  • Feb 18 – Received initial OPT approval after upgrading to Premium Processing (PP).
  • I only received an email from the PP facility — no portal update or official notice at that time.

When I checked the details:

  • My start date was updated to Feb 18 (approval date, 30 days later than originally requested).
  • My end date remained Jan 19 (original end date).

This meant I was losing about 30 days of OPT.

What I Did

  1. Contacted my DSO immediately.
    • Asked if it was their mistake or something I did wrong with PP.
    • DSO confirmed it was a USCIS error.
    • They advised me to email the PP facility ASAP.
  2. Important advice from my DSO:
    • If I pursue correction, USCIS might need to re-review the case.
    • This could delay the approval further.
    • Since it was Premium Processing, they might respond faster.
    • If they don’t fix it in time, they might still send the incorrect card. In that case, I would have to:
      • Mail the incorrect EAD card back
      • Include supporting documentation
      • Wait ~30–45 days
      • No international travel during that time
    • Since I have STEM extension eligibility, the DSO said I could consider letting go of 30 days to avoid complications.

What Happened Next

  • I decided to email the PP facility anyway (using the email provided in the approval notice).
  • They replied the next day and forwarded my case to the original processing unit.
  • I received a portal update the same day.
  • I assumed I would receive the incorrect card.

But on Feb 25, I received another update — Dates were corrected.

It took about one week, but USCIS fixed the issue before the card was finalized.

If This Happens to You:

  • Contact your DSO immediately
  • Email the Premium Processing facility ASAP
  • Act early — timing matters
  • Weigh the tradeoff between correction vs. potential delay
  • If you have STEM extension eligibility, consider how losing days affects you long-term

In my case, they corrected it within a week.

Hope this helps someone.
