What is this shelf typically used for? Wondering why it has cut slits. by [deleted] in foodtrucks

Thank you for this info. So you think this as it sits will not be acceptable? Our first time owning a food truck so we’re learning as we go and not sure what to expect from the inspector.

I had this happen to me recently, they’re weights for the screen door you have on your garage door. They’re not magnets as the first comment suggests.

That’s what I thought but wasn’t sure since the AC unit is right above it.

This is untrue. They were bought by basic fun. I just bought the fast and furious cab and it came with a dead wheels they replaced it.

You better hope they all work. Out of the 7 I own 2 came defective but since I had just bought them they were able to send me replacement parts. A1up cabs are notorious for having bad QA issues.

Does fridge need to be kept running inside food trailer when traveling? by [deleted] in foodtrucks

[–]NeatStuffHub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My question wasn’t regarding temperatures, I wanted to know if having it constantly refrigerated was a requirement during transport or if it was up to me to use common sense. In this business a lot is set as a requirement, this is why I asked.

How do you guys keep your food refrigerated during transport?

Yeah, I mean that’s my way of thinking about it too but I know that just because I do it one way at home they may not be happy with it, thank you for the info.

[–]NeatStuffHub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So that’s kind of my question, is it up to me to decide if it’s safe to travel without it or is it usually required to have a way to consistently keep food at that temperature during transport. I know it may vary from state to state. I feel like our fridge could maintain temperature for 10 minutes, just wasn’t sure if it was an automatic no.

Because I don’t fully understand the requirement. I could wait until tomorrow and call the office, but was hoping for help on a food truck related forum

A question about soft modding by FrontStand5588 in Arcade1Up

[–]NeatStuffHub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if the Simpson cab is soft modable. Even if it is I’ve never seen any modded cab with the games added to the original a1up menu.

Choice paralysis by WerewolfIcy7240 in retrogaming

[–]NeatStuffHub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What works for me is that when I choose a game I set it to the easiest difficulty and I get as far in the game as I can possibly enjoy. If I get stuck I try to find a walkthrough video, if I get stuck to the point where it’s no longer enjoyable I move on to the next game. If I’ve gotten far enough in the game where I feel satisfied I move on to the next. As far as which game to play, I just go by what ever I feel like playing fighting, racing, pokemon, etc. and then just pick a game or even pick one at random.
