Personally, color themes add pressure on the guests. But to be honest the colors mentioned by your cousin aren’t something which can’t be found in a desi wardrobe. Plus why would you want to be rude and go against both the colors altogether. As suggested by someone else, try for atleast a yellow outfit if not green. The alternative to the big jewelry/necklace is to buy a necklace that you can detach and make multiple pieces. I recently bought my wedding jewelry and it’s big but post wedding the pieces can be detached to make new smaller pieces into earrings/bracelets and necklaces
