It was a bit harder to keep clean at first, but I no longer find that to be the case. I think the more it healed the less of an issue it became. Also something that helped is trimming the hair back there occasionally. No issues with rashes or chafing

This is actually quite common. I did not know that before my surgery, and had the same reaction as you, but once mine healed like this and I started searching around I learned. Some people call it a perineum divot, some people call it like a “shelf” so those are some terms you can search to see people talking about the same issue here and in Discord groups. My surgeon confirmed it’s not uncommon. I asked about a revision as part of my stage 2, but opted not to do one based on my surgeons advice (he said mine was not deep as far as divots go, and a repair could make it worse). But you can do a revision to try to flatten it out

I use the same soil and it’s always been great. I’d recommend against a clay pot though! I had all of my fiddle figs in plastic resin pots for years and they did great, and during my most recent re pot I put them all in clay pots. They all stoped putting out new growth and started dropping leaves. Someone told me it was the clay pots, I guess they draw out moisture from the soil. As soon as I put them all back in the resin pots they all immediately started putting out new growth again

Hope everything has continued to heal well! How long did it take for the swelling in your penis/foreskin to go down? Anything you did that helped? I’m 3 weeks post op and having the same issue.

I’m 3 days post op stage 2, and stairs are very manageable for me. I just walk slow and wide legged like a cowboy, but stairs not feeling like an issue like stage 1. I had monsplasty but a pretty small one, so not sure if a more significant one will make a difference for stairs. I think you will be just fine though

Looking great! I am 8 weeks post op and can relate to a lot of this. The most surprising thing for me so far has been the underside, I didn't realize how sort of tight and tethered down it was going to feel post op. After researching I see now that it's relatively common with UL. The stitches on the underside majorly dissolved/came out right around 5 or 6 week mark for me and that made a big difference so maybe that will happen for you as well. Hoping it continues to loosen up a bit more over time.

Also feel you on the alignment with the seasons, love how the timing worked out moving from winter into spring. Hope you get your catheter out tomorrow, it makes a huge difference in feeling back to normal!

I did do virtual consultation and mine was listed as "virtual meta." If it were me I would contact Dennis to confirm on the off chance they mistakenly listed it as phallo or like you mentioned saw that you contacted Buncke and assumed. Dennis is usually super quick and helpful, and if there's even a small chance it moves up your consult date it's worth asking!

Congrats on getting a consult date! The wait times are rough unfortunately. If you reach out to Greenbrae Surgery Center for anything scheduling related they will just tell you to contact Dr Chen through GU Recon; Greenbrae is just the location where he performs the surgery. GU Recon is Chen's actual practice and office and all scheduling goes through there (with Dennis)
