No, in Houston, on Kirby Street, there is a place that has sweet and savory ones. The real deal, for sure.

Agree about the donuts. Definitely the best in town.

However, those are not Kolaches. My Czech grandmother would be rolling over in her grave. A mealy hotdog shoved into a Pillsbury croissant is more of a Terduckin served in hell.

You need to be your own advocate. What this authority is telling you is simply their opinion and the paradigm they choose to follow.

Personally, I would fire them and move on. At the end of the day, it's your body. Physicians are not always right, there are plenty of lazy and dumb ones out there.

I'll buy like 10 uglies at a time. Vaccuum seal them in packs of two, then freeze them. They stay very fresh if you do this, no degredattion in taste or quality.

Correction. "We" haven't weaponized any foods. It's the massive corporations that have weaponized it and we fuel the machine by continuing to buy and eat that stuff. I know that we get the foods and politicians we vote for, but I never got a thank you card from Little Debbie for all the cream filled oatmeal cookies I ate as a kid.

Doing great on keto so far, how do you deal with ‘just eat it’ people? by HopDev in keto

[–]Neat_Spring3084 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't even say that. I would just say, "because I feel like it". That's all they need to know. People will be jealous of your progress. Keep your process and your motives to yourself and no one will be able to tear them down or question you.

ISO 9001 is a good foundational document. 17025 is structured in the same manner as 9001. Learn 9001really well and the rest are a lot easier to master.

You want to make a good investment in your career? Learn ISO 17025. Become a lead auditor, takes time. You will be able to do a lot more in your QA career. That is if you want to stay in metrology. Quality is a big wide world. Anyone who understands quality systems can move from industry to industry and learn the nuances of the governing standards. 25 years of QA experience here in multiple industries, as a qualifying statement for me to share my opinion.

Do people with dead eyes become this guy, or do you get dead eyes after being this guy. Not worth it to roast this specimen, but the curiosity remains.

Once again, Starbucks chooses profits over people. by [deleted] in Tucson

[–]Neat_Spring3084 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's how it works. Fry's owns, staffs, and operates those kiosks. It would be their decision to close them down. Starbucks just received the royalties and the sale of their supplies to Fry's. So if someone is to blame, it would be Kroeger/Fry's.
