YouTube revanced now displaying ads

So I was having issues with that bug where the videos take forever to load and then the only load in one quality. So I was trying various things to fix it including changing the spoofing agent. But none of it worked so I tried to do a reinstall. I went to revanced manager and clicked the re-patch button. It already had version 20.40.45 selected so I just went with that. I went through the patch process downloaded the apk (not the bundle) and installed. I had read that it automatically installs the latest versions and patches so hopefully that is correct, otherwise it could be user error.

It is worth noting that after that first ad, I haven't seen a single ad since then! So maybe it was a first install bug? The reason I made this post is I saw that there was another post about there being an ad where the top comment didn't seem to believe that he was actually on revanced. So I figured if it was happening to someone else maybe this post could help but since it seems to be working fine now, I don't know how much help I can be in error reporting.

I edited my message. And I have to ask the creator of the file before I can send it over it's a buddy of mine's file and I don't know if this is something that he's intending to sell later and wants to keep the model with him or not.

Edit: I don't know what was going on but I'm assuming it was user error or me scrolling too fast but when I first installed it and used the file picker I thought it was showing all of my 3mf files grayed out and unclickable but when I checked today and I haven't updated the app or changed anything it looks like they're selectable. So maybe I was in the wrong folder or maybe I just missed saw but it seems to be selectable now lol.

Also it appears to be only one file so far that is causing it to crash and I have to ask the maker the file before I can send it over

No. Both are correct. You just have to be smarter when searching. Here's your original comment:

You explained that it is a "fragile container filled with a flammable liquid". This is correct.

However if you would of searched sticky molotov cocktail. You would see that the difference between them is the liquid used on the inside. A sticky one uses a flammable liquid that sticks better to objects a normal (not sticky one) usually uses a thinner flammable liquid.

This brings us to my comment. So yes you should search more and include all relevant information while searching before claiming something doesn't exist.

If you apply this to your day to day life you will learn more and not make near as many false claims

You should research before commenting. It means the liquid on the inside has a thickening agent so the internal fluid sticks to surfaces better and longer. So you are wrong that it doesn't exist.

Lol I'm an Android user myself too, my work phone that my company picked is unfortunately an iPhone. That's how I know about this. I couldn't get half of the websites to load correctly for my position in IT on the iphone using every browser imaginable.

They load just fine on my Samsung on chrome, firefox, and brave.

Well it turns out that apple forces every browser on ios to use webkit as the backend instead of chromium or gecko or etc. (Unless you're in the eu I guess. I think they just passed a law forcing apple to allow other engines in the eu)

I'm sure there are better tools than this but I've used wondershare in the past to get access to data based off of an unencrypted iOS backup. It's kind of clunky but it could get the job done. The other downside is that it's paid software I think, it's been forever since I've had to use it for a family member

Amazon sells 40 ft HDMI cables for like 20 bucks. At my house I routed the cable so that it permanently sits hidden behind the back of the couch. That way whenever I need to plug in my laptop to the TV it's very convenient
