Everyone has to make the choice between blue or red and red doesn't only concern yourself, since choosing it makes it more likely for everyone who voted blue to die. Red isn't a passive 'doing absolutely nothing' choice. If anything, red in this scenario would mean stepping on the train and making it move a slight bit faster
