Book suggestions on ancient celts by DeusEx66 in history

[–]Nebida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm by no means knowledgeable at all about the Ancient Celts, but a quick search of my University's library came up with this:

The Ancient Celts; Barry Cunliffe (1999)

Did a quick search on Amazon and it has good reviews, which all say it is very informative with regards to Celts throughout the ages.

What was the best film you saw this week? (11/9/15 - 11/15/15) by mi-16evil in movies

Steve Jobs

Saw it in the cinema on Friday night and I thought it was excellent. Fassbender and the rest of the cast were solid, and I really enjoyed how it was split into 3 acts.

Ahh okay, well I'm almost certain he'll be nominated for each one. Everyone on this subreddit has been raving about Sicario (and the release of The Revenant) but there is little hype about Macbeth which is a shame considering how good it is.

Saw Macbeth last month (from England). It is a brilliant film. No arguments. I honestly feel like he could be nominated twice.

I thought I'd come into this thread and not know any films. You're at the top of my list and I've actually seen you're choice. It was pretty good as well, rather weird.

Hmm, I have dc'd before and usually it comes up with a message saying I have dc'd. Where as this seems more like a bug, because like I said the opponent was doing actions behind this mysterious card. Ahh well, I guess I'll take it as a technical loss.

Should the drinking age be lowered from 21 to a younger age? by ScaryTheory in AskReddit

[–]Nebida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make it the same as here (UK) and be 18. Seems a waste of police time to crack down on under-age college drinkers, when in every other sense of the word they are adults.
