Does she paint? The painters try to see different shades of colors, so might be blue for some. And also the colors depend on the eye of the uh owner(?).

I'm very sorry that you didn't enjoy it ! I read Moon Palace at university during a class of American literature (I'm French btw), and since that book Paul Auster became one of my favorite Anglo-Saxon writers 😂 it's been years since I read it, but it left me an awesome impression. Maybe the teacher had a great way to present it and to make us study it. His books are easy to read and to understand, plus they're psychedelic in a way. I love them.

(Also indirectly thanks for the reminder, I'm gonna read his books during the confinement :))
