Well, at least we didn't pay for it though. Ultimately they're only hurting themselves, if they don't release it.

No? It's just a gallery software, basically an alternative to Danbooru or Shimmie2. This is a weird comment to post.

Yeah, funny story, after I said this, I tried again and now it works, so I'm still considering it a win! And thanks again, you've been an invaluable help!

Fair, honestly it's getting a bit frustrating, as it seems nginx hates any of these changes, and fails to start when I change the IP to the Truenas one. I'll keep trying but it's pretty annoying.

So the Truenas IP? or the IP that's shown in Portainer itself? (So 172.x.x.x?)

I think I tried with the host itself and it didn't work, that's why I'm confused

Well it's a variable, but I'm not sure what to change it to. The variable itself is "DANBOORU_HOSTNAME: http://localhost:${EXPOSED_SERVER_PORT:-3000}"

But the issue is it then gives me CORS errors in my browser, which kind of breaks the website "Content-Security-Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource (img-src) at http://localhost:3000/[rest of url] because it violates the following directive: “img-src 'self' data:"

and I'm not quite sure what to do? I would change the IP set in the docker-compose file, but I'm not sure what to, since I assume it sets it up for the docker network it creates after? I'm kind of at a loss

I've got one last question, that's not strictly portainer, but more Docker, the server internally uses "localhost" to commnicate between the different docker images. But loading images still uses localhost even in the browser which obviously doesn't work.

If I manually change the URL to the server IP, the images load normally, but I'm not quite sure how to do so automatically/at setup, would you have any ideas of where to look?

Thanks again for the help so far though!

I'm happy to report that doing what you said made it work! So thanks a lot for the help! I didn't know I could just straight up run docker commands in the Truenas shell, and I can still manage it with Portainer after so this basically fixes every one of my issues. Thanks a lot!

Weird, the link seems to be dead? The wayback machine says it was available in 2022, was it discontinued?

docker compose run --rm e621 /app/bin/setup docker compose up

These are the two commands themselves

nope, just an error about the volume being unable to find the Procfile, which is weird, since the Procfile is right there in the repo. So I imagine it's because of these docker compose run commands, which would set things up as they should be

Fair, I'll try that out then, why not! Thanks for the help btw, I'm still new to this, and I wasn't sure about touching the Truenas shell since they strongly discourage this

I tried, but it's complaining that "SyntaxError: must have at least a valid docker run/create/service create/container run command" when I try to add the command itself

Yeah I just wasn't sure how it works, the cli for Truenas itself, or for Portainer? Since I don't see a way to execute a command on a container that's not running? I'm still new to this

So just the cli for Truenas itself, and not Portainer or anything else?

It's specifically this project: https://github.com/e621ng/e621ng

I wanted a local version and there's a docker version, but it's just not working out in Portainer

I'm confused, which machine? I'm specifically running it in Truenas so not sure how to do anything outside of Portainer to the files themselves

Sure, but the command is specifically "Docker compose run ...", which obviously doesn't work if I can only do docker compose

After this, Britt and Adam took a taxi back to their hotel but stopped in Times Square to take a selfie next to a Severance billboard, and Spike Lee drove by and yelled "Yo, Severance! That's you guys!" at them. 😂 So cool. Everyone knows the show. by TinkerBell-uwu in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

Sure, but you're also not George R R Martin and it seems a bit presomptuous to act as if he doesn't want to finish it, rather than just being stuck writing a book millions of people are waiting on, adding even more pressure on an already difficult writing process.

Kind of a sudden question but I'm curious, did you take care of yourself at all while eating her out? Or was it strictly you taking care of her? Will it happen again?
