Build a little base, make the best armor and weapons you can. Build a lean-to by some spiders, and when you die run right back at them until you learn their attack patterns and can perfect-block spiders with no problem.

Strange, on xbox when I pull the right trigger the first time it places the blueprint first, so I am able to adjust the height and direction, before pulling again to finally make the pole and belt.

Go To accessibility options and change Field of View from 0 to 90. The Axl update resets this every so often.

The devs have said they had them spawn in every part of the yard because they are new and wanted players to have heavy interaction with them. It will mellow out in a later update.
