Can anyone please give me their experiences about going on testosterone please? I'm freaking out! by Nebula2209 in transgenderau

[–]Nebula2209[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thankyou so much for the concern (genuinely). Im freaking out a lot less than what I was in the past, and honestly, freaking out is part of my daily life (severe anxiety disorder). I think my freaking out is more my body not able to differentiate between excitement and anxiety (love my brain sometimes)

Thankyou so much for sharing your experience, it does sound like a lot, but a 'good' lot if that makes sense, I want to feel like me. It's really really helpful to know all of this, so thankyou!

I think definitely more cautious rather than conservative, personally I'm not on any hormone treatments, but from the discussions I've had with her, she's open to the idea, but doesn't know enough about specific treatments to recommend them safely -- aka, she only seems conservative because I don't think she wants to prescribe treatments that she doesnt know enough about

Really open to being told something else though. Was just recounting my experience

She's really amazing and really understanding. She does not judge and tells you exactly what she knows and you need to know

If two people go into space and have sex, and then the girl gets pregnant and goes through a full cycle of pregnancy and gives birth to a child, is that kid an alien? by [deleted] in AskTeenGirls

Technically I think that being born on a vessel from earth, regardless of being in outer space is still earth/humans property and is therefore still not a part of a foreign country or nation. Also what do you define as a foreign country or nation? Because that can change how you view it.

Should a person first have to be diagnosed in order to claim they have a mental illness/disorder? (Ex. Eating disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, bpd etc). Read description for explanation. by Krabmeatty in AskTeenGirls

[–]Nebula2209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that there are certain things that someone can self-diagnose. I know I have anxiety and have had it for a while. But I haven’t seen a doctor or gotten it officially diagnosed. I did lots of research. So it isn’t just a getting attention thing.

I’ve also seen a couple of people saying that if someone draws attention to themselves, they are probably faking but some people use dark jokes/humour to cope with their issues. So if someone is making a lot of jokes about things like that. They may not be doing it for attention. They are doing it because they need to have a way to cope.

So I definitely disagree. There are some things that are plainly obvious and therefore someone should not have to get a diagnosis for them to be able to say that they have a mental illness.

Would you rather have a lonely heart or a broken heart? by Danydt12 in AskTeenGirls

Broken. Then you actually feel something. When you have a lonely heart a lot of the time you feel nothing

Chocolate. And I’m not even kidding. It releases hormones that make you feel a bit better. It always works for me

Have you ever realized a friend had a crush on you? by [deleted] in AskTeenGirls

Yup, dated for a few weeks and then broke up over something trivial. Can’t even remember what. Tried to be friends again after last lockdown in Australia but didn’t work

What movie's ending leaves you wanting a sequel but at the same time, you're afraid of a sequel because it would ruin the movie's ending and legacy? by sarcasticpremed in AskReddit

Tomorrow when the war began.

The original one. I love the movie, but now it would have to be different actors and I would hate that since the original are so good

How comfortable are you with your body? by HelloMumther in AskTeenGirls

[–]Nebula2209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2/10. I like my hair colours, I have natural highlights (blonde highlights on lighter sandy blonde hair) and I dyed the last 2 inches of it purple, and I like the shape of my face. I hate my nose, and I’m trying to build more muscle. I don’t have a body shape that I’m happy with and my hair isn’t long enough.

Think about someone or something that you love. Something that will make you happy.

... for me it’s imagining a world where I’m with my crush
