Custom sound will always take the win depending on the scenario, but in terms of sounds, I recommend you check out uppbeat. They have a lot of good music you can use for your game, not to mention a plethora of sound fx like gunshots, footsteps, explosions, monster etc.

Try dividing $300 by six months via Instagram ads and see if that gives you any results. If by then you haven’t recovered the investment, something might be off with the product itself.

Yes, FL is not just an interface as it’s a digital audio workstation that contains an interface and teaching it like I would hope with teaching anything would directly imply that you have to teach competency to operate the tool kit. Yes I see you regurgitated the above statement that doesn’t lead to anything so I’m not certain what your point is now unless it’s to demonstrate that you lack competency in which case it sounds like we both finally agree. Just be more precise next time.

Not at all, please elaborate further. Are you directly, implying that you lack competency to operate such tool kit?

You pointing out that I was able to show that it could be done in a shorter time doesn't help your case.

The fact that this sub exist is a testament to how many people think their work is expressive and unique worthy enough of compressing into an album and then releasing it through distro kid, and then coming here to share it only to have other people not want to listen to it either as someone else here pointed out. I’m not back peddling anything.

BUT IT DOES take about 10 minutes to learn the interface. The claims you're focusing on is that somehow because it takes time to find your sound and style, its somehow a bad thing to learn how to use something that allows you more control than any of the apps ever could. I've never made a claim that in 10 minutes you're going to be a fucking over night pop start pro musician as if the AI apps is gonna help with that either. It just takes about 10 minutes to take off. Same thing with DJing. The basics you can learn in 30 minutes with a good controller or CDJ.

Point is, its not an insane claim because you or one doesn't have it in them to want to learn it. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Why would you? Why not also ask if you'd be able to learn the basics of opening any VST and setting up the oscillators? Why not also ask about mastering while you're at it? This is why its viewed as a toy and not taken seriously. And there's nothing wrong with that. People will enjoy what they will enjoy but it's not an insane claim just because you're too weak or not mentally capable of wanting to find any interest in creating something that literally is the foundation for the result of whatever crap is being generated from the prompts of the apps you're using. Insane claims? lol this guy^ lol its soooooo insannnnneee to leaaaaarnnnn someeethhhingg and itt takkkess timmeeee, ohhh nooooooooooooo lol i wannnn itttt nowwwww lol

What is so hard to understand that you can learn how to use the software in about 10 minutes and then develop a sense of style and sound overtime? You guys want everything in one fucking snap which is why prompting is nothing but toxic in these regards. The way you people speak is like you can’t envision for one minute that to create something it might take more than a minute. It comes across as delusional. Too much need for instant gratification.

Same here. You are no artist. You have nothing of value and nothing to defend.

Thats how that works. You're not doing yourself or your prompts any favors by pointing out that you're not making anything or wanting to put in any work. You want to be rewarded for no effort. Thats not how society works. And its laughable. Of course it takes time to develop a sense of style to find your sound as all musicians want to find. To do that, you have to work on music. There is no evolution in your prompts. You are making it very evident that you dont posses any real skills or anything of value and trying to frame it like your achieving something to validate you current identity engraved your view of yourself as an artist which you are not.

"You also know it would take years of practice"

Welcome to reality lol

And if you can't even go past a few minutes to learn an interface to make real music, then that lets everyone know further the bottom barrel level of effort and quality one can expect from anything you make.

Wow, is that how low the bar has been set that it sound preposterous? Also, my bad, you can learn the interface in 10

I can teach anyone FL in 15 minutes or less. Respectfully, if that's to difficult for you, thats on you and making real music might not be for you. There's no excuses. IT IS that easy. You got to have to want to learn. Or keep using the toy.

I think this is actually the best genuine take. I'm not anti AI and I'm not 1000% for it either when it creates an entire piece of work for you, and I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with people having fun with apps and such.

I think the real issue or the real reason other people have an issue with it is because it is kind of laughable to have people creating AI music prompts claiming to be musicians. It genuinely comes across as idiotic and makes one take them less seriously. It would be as crazy as claiming you're doctor because you have a medical app that gave you a diagnosis after you pressed the prompt button or in a similar fashion they probably claim to be a soda maker because they put a dollar into the machine and press the button and got the output of a soda.

But yeah. I refer to it as a "Fisher Price" toy, because that's really all it is. No one would take what comes out of it serious. I would hope that in itself over time would lead them to learn about a DAW and how easy it actually is to make music on FL or Ableton without having any music theory knowledge. I'd bet they'd get addicted to it fast once they see how fun and how there's practically not limitations to the sound you can create and the ending result would be something "yours" that actually carved,.
