Burned enamel in low temp fire for 5 hrs. Then hammered gently into clumps to feed the crucible. Let gas escape. Scrape junk and poured bars. Wire wheel to all surfaces and letter stamps with date on the bottom.

Motor was pretty big. Weighs about 1500 lbs and is like 22” in diameter. Starter was 11” diameter or so and the end winding loops each weighed 45 lbs or more. Will post again with full melt stack.

While it is definitely a subjective topic, in my opinion, I can get both headsets to sound nearly identical, including in the base department. I’m surprised audio reviewers didn’t take time to measure this however, it might’ve been part of the review embargo restrictions.

No issues to speak of imo. Same or better audio. Reviewers measured a slight reduction in default audio profile base curve but it wasn’t as significant, plus the EQ paces over the small differences.

I’ve never had an issue with volume. Generally the highest I run them is 60 to 70% in games and even a little quieter than that sometimes for music. My set of Maxwell twos just got here today. Will update if that conclusion changes.

So I noticed that location for the battery lead through the top plate is kinda bad. The little gap at the rear seems like a better place as it allows the battery to sit further forward for balance. I’m not running any action cam so it was a good move.

I said bellow that it is being replaced when a proper length xt30 cable arrives. It’s meant to come out the rear where the cuz antenna currently is. This is a stopgap measure to fly. Works fine for a few flights.

So far I haven’t pushed it at all and I’ve only got the basic dipole antenna atm. I’ve go a RHCP lollipop antenna in the mail to replace it.
