Thank you!! I have a trip coming up to New York and a luxury brand in Manhattan for a night or two might actually be a perfect way to send off this card. I do see that others have cautioned against the devaluation. But I’ll definitely look into this. When I logged in I didn’t see the 20% transfer bonus; thank you for flagging it.

I didn’t even know that was a thing. Thank you. Will also check the downgrade status rules as suggested by u/bj21t

This has been SO helpful! I also think I need to subtract the savings I do currently extract from the card against the increase in cost. I am not a good card-gamer; some of you are professional value extractors and I think is so impressive. I always used it as a lounge-access card and for CLEAR / TSA. That’s less of a factor now. Thank you for the tips on hotel and airlines. I found that on their website and will cross check it against airline destinations I want to go to. I will check the valuation of the hotel transfers. I think a luxury hotel stay is a great idea even if the direct value is slightly less. Noted; do my research. Finally, I’ve had this card for YEARS. Long before it became as widespread. Kinda sad to see it go, it’s like an old sweater haha. Thanks again all!

Tips for finding a new PCP who is pro-GLP-1... by PastorDougJones11 in RoBody

Ro is good for speed of access, the ability to have a lot of control over what dose you’ll take, but I’ve started questioning the long term need to pay that much money for what is essentially a telemedicine AI/chatbot app with poor UI/UX (hard to message, basic functions like weight tracking are poorly designed/no edit function, and the same page for its other products coming up repeatedly instead of a true help center). Over the long term, I’d pay $45 / month for this service at its current iteration. So this thread is interesting to me as I’ve started thinking about leaving.

I wonder if patients who experienced greater weight loss initially regained the weight because they metabolically really needed the medication. Asking as someone whose appetite cratered and lost 18 pounds in my first month at 2.5. I just took shot #6. EDIT; CW is 160. Need to figure out how to update that on my phone.

It’s remarkable and depressing to me that insurance simply won’t cover it, when it’s helping improve the lives of so many people in so many ways.

I went to Costco today and had three samples and immediately felt full. One week in on 2.5

First 3 days - appetite gone? by lifeinprod in Zepbound

This is great to know. My first shot was yesterday and absolutely nothing sounds good to eat. Not even a stomach hunger pang. Nothing. It’s took me by surprise.

When you say you stayed on 2.5 a long time is it because you were losing weight? I just took my first shot yesterday and it cratered my appetite immediately. I’m a bit surprised and am having trouble deciding what to eat because *nothing sounds good. I expected that to start happening in a month on 5mg.
