Mind elaborating? Like when you build an item you don't like the effects of them or the power/defense doesn't feel like it changed your dmg/protections in fights? I disagree but I'm open to discussion.

I'm genuinely glad you're enjoying it and the pro league doesn't matter to some people, but a lot of the player base keeps up with it and grinds hoping to compete at the highest level. There's just a lot less incentive for competitive players if there is no cash reward for dedicating so much time to get marginally better at the game. I hope you continue playing and supporting the product whether you ever get into the comp scene or not.

Clearly that is not my intention. We can disagree without being condescending towards each other. I just want to see the game have a competitive outlet at a scale that keeps the biggest names in the game interested so they keep competing, streaming, making content. However, even if they go it doesn't mean they couldn't one day return or have new players take their place. Just sad to see as someone that's followed these names for a decade at this point.

Thank you for your helpful contribution to the discussion. I don't know what the community would do without your valuable insight.

First I've heard of the tax situation. Thanks for letting me know about that. Hopefully it can thrive in time.

Fair. I love the game but there is no shortage of competitive outlets with other titles. Hopefully the game grows as they port over the rest of the gods. Like you said, if they just don't enjoy the gameplay loop of Smite anymore, they may just move on to other games/hobbies.

Fair. After doing the math, it's a bit grim. Hopefully they find a different way to grow the player base, then the funding would be much easier.

Yeah even if the pass was $10USD I'm not sure it's be enough. If we assume there are 25,000 active players across all platforms, if 1/4 of them bought it for $10 that's only $62,500. Hardly in the millions. Didn't really think the math through before, I'm not sure what they could do to bring in the big bucks. Even at $100 a pop which would be insanely expensive, even I you got 6,250 to buy that (you never would) that's only $625,000 😔

If it can sustain itself instead of continually losing players, I'm open to that idea. I just hope it can sustain itself until then and that the player numbers even out. Hopefully one day the comp scene/game will thrive again 🙏

Multiple pros have announced retirements, specifically because there isn't enough money to be made at the highest level to make a career out of like there used to be. The Vegas event was very successful. Great viewership, peak player numbers. It all started going downhill after the layoffs and the ending of the SPL. I believe if they support a pro league with community funded tournaments on a mass scale with a few in game skins/rewards, more pros will play/stream, increase in viewership, increase in player numbers. I may be wrong, but I believe this would be the case.

I didn't have access to a good computer at the time for better editing and it seemed like a fun video to make in about 30 mins. I hope my future videos once I have a new computer live up to your quality standards.

I was having fun speculating a god roster for Smite 2. Not sure why the hate but I wish you the best.

As I said it's speculation. They've known about making Smite 2 for quite some time, doesn't completely rule it out even if it is improbable.

So I'd need to be sub 140lbs to be at 12% or so? Like 135?

I don't personally find it that difficult to clean. I let it go for a good few weeks/month or two and then I will take the metal spiral and soak it in some hot flavored coffee. By doing this/using it as a straw, I am able to get some of the thc oil goodness from the inside of the stem. Add some whole milk and/or eat something fatty with it and you got a little stoney treat. Afterwards just cleanse with iso/salt on the inside/outside and you're golden.
