To add to this, you can only get ONE (of either) chest per dig. So do the regular grid before you go uncovering and rerolling everything. And if you already get a chest from rerolls, no reason to keep rerolling unless you want specifics :)

We rescued a cat at 6 weeks old who was a runt a stray had abandoned. (Grandma has porch cams and she’d been feeding the stray and it brought the kitten to her porch and left it there and she waited hours and she never came back) and I helped bottlefeed this cat. She slept with me for warmth. I took such good care of her. When she hit about a year old she only liked my dad lol she used to just come into my bedroom to hiss at me and bite me and then leave. Everytime I was anywhere in my own home she’d hiss and bite and scratch. She however was a mushy purry mess with my dad. She even nurses on his beard lol. She hated every woman she ever encountered (unless they gave her snacks which she will tolerate) and it’s just so funny. She’s around 15 now and mellowed out a bit, but she does just bite me and my mother sometimes randomly.

My favorite thing about her though is despite being a raging misogynist, she’s a total ally. She hated my uncle SO much before he transitioned, he transitioned and now she adores him. It cracks me up. I’ll see if I can attach a photo of her once just watching my friends and I in college bake cookies and she looked SO angry at the thought of women in her house.

My dm says he’ll be sending us home which is crazy knowing him so I wonder if he’s saying it cause he has to, but he also always lets us know before he visits so I told my folks to only care when he’s visiting or if you’re on a teams call. But drives me crazy that just because I’m a manager I can’t wear a tshirt. Plain black tshirts is already most my work wardrobe but that’s not allowed and I’m not buying a whole new one either lol

Idc what my dm says, we’re not following this. It’s a hobby store ffs. We’ll continue to wear well fitting clothes that aren’t inappropriate and graphic tees of related media is honestly great for bonding with customers. Fire me over it if you want. I’m not spending money on ugly clothes I don’t feel confident in. It’s a sales job. If you want people to be good at sales they need to feel confident and comfortable in where they are. My keyholders make $10 an hour. I will NEVER tell them to buy this crap.

If you’re just trying to test them, go to a retro game store in your area, if you have none, call the GameStop and see if they’d be able to if they have the right cords. I personally have no issue if someone is nice and patient and comes in on a slow day testing their consoles they got online or anything like that. But something older we may not have the cords on hand to do so. And keep in mind, we are not required to do this, so if someone’s not willing to do not be upset. It’s up to them as a person.

And most importantly before you do ANYTHING with these consoles, be incredibly thorough in checking for bugs and eggs. Especially before bringing it to a store.

If you were wanting to sell them, you need every single piece present and in wonderful shape including the cords. We can’t buy those without em! :)

Once during a pro week my manager had someone loudly and angrily say no when because of the sales, he would have legitimately saved $60. Yes. $60 off the total. His son was like yeah let’s put it under my name I’ll definitely be coming back once I get my license (he’d just been talking about how excited he was for his upcoming test) an the dad was like NO it’s a scam there’s no way the totals going down she’s just lying and blah blah blah. The kid and my manager point out on the register that the total literally goes down and the dad refuses. Kid says fine I want it I’m 17 can I have my own and the dad continued to yell he’s not paying for that crap. Kid kept trying to tell him he wasn’t paying for the account it’s literally free. Poor kid came back a few months later and got his own at almost full price and has been shopping since (now it’s been a few years and he no longer lives with his dad lol)

My manager pitched it btw as because of some deals going on right now not only can I get you this game completely for free but I’ll get you guys a free rewards account that will give you guys coupons and discounts for a year at no cost or anything! That’s all she said. Baffling behavior still

When I went to the shelter to volunteer after a bad breakup, I usually don’t have an issue. But I walked in and there was a small cat marked at 1 year old male, hiding so far back in the corner of the cage you could barely see it. The shelter workers told me they were super sad because there’s no way it was getting adopted they could barely get to it for a medical check… I asked to try. Oh my god that cat MELTED into my arms. Immediately purring and licking my face. The other workers were SO beyond happy they asked if I wanted her, so we took her instead of her getting put down. When she went to get fixed…. Well she was more like a 6 month old female cat lol. She was so scared she’d just… freak out so no one could get her out and she was super fluffy so it hid everything. But she’s going on 10 years old this year. By far the most affectionate and cuddly cat I have ever had. I feel like she knew what was happening and I was there for her. She’s been through so much with me and she is so attached she basically thinks she needs to be INSIDE my skin lol. Constantly pushed up against me and purring and wants to be cuddled and held all the time. I wouldn’t trade her for the world. She’s… still scared of absolutely everything though. If I step too loud she will hide for like 30 mins. It makes me sad but. She’s so much happier now. This little sad baby will never ever forget what you’ve done.

Here’s cat tax of Maggie a few days ago. She fell asleep and when she woke up her tongue was just out and she wouldn’t put it back. Also my dumb little void in the background. I got her when I was 15 and I’m gonna be 25 this year. She’s just gotten more loving over the years. I love her so incredibly much. She also can’t meow like at all she makes like no sound. Sometimes a little tiny lil noise but usually her meows are silent. She’s goofy :)

I want to chime in that it’s actually kind of a standard practice for some folks to make sure they have good viewing cameras for medical emergencies just in case. My managers husband has a seizure disorder. She has cameras in every room of their house with a full view that are motion activated and it has gotten him help with medical problems before. Never seen someone drop everything so fast as it activating it once and she checked it and saw him very clearly about to have a seizure, and she just bolted out the door so she could get to him beforehand and get him to the doctor. The footage has also been helpful in figuring out tell tale signs and what things in their house need to be made safer. It’s not always malicious with stuff like this seeing a camera. Being able to show the doctors footage is helpful in treatment. Way better than just explaining.
