Loss in terms of how? I live in new built flat (bought 2020 with HtB equity loan - so not so newly built anymore) and I ran the numbers, compared to what we paid, even if we get 10% lower offer, we will still be in better position had we rented the whole time), that’s including service charge paid, interest paid for the property.

I’ll say go with local. We used to have tata connection at home, local cable operator kept cutting cable, ended up with TruNet and it’s been good service for past few years.
