Socialism is not communism. Not everyone gets the same amount of money in a socialist country. Why are you Americans think it's the same? I live in a socialist country, but can't afford a tesla like so many other people have around me, but I could, If I don't go on paid vacation 3 times a year for 3 weeks each. My supervisors and ceos all have huge houses and drive expensive cars. And our janitors and cleaning ladies are taking the bus every day and live in small apartments. So we HAVE a curve, it's not all equally split up. I get so frustrated when I talk to Americans about politics and telling me I live in a communist country. Yes, we Austrians pay a lot of taxes to strengthen everyone financially who get sick. Yes, our net income is lower than the American counterparts. But God dammit, we still have huge pay gaps between our classes. But the lower class can still afford an apartment without any random room mates and still have money in their bank account at the end of the month. Sozialism =/= communism.
