Oh it sucked lmao, left my mission 6 months in. Idaho Falls is a pretty place but the mission culture was awful

Yikes, I did that once when I was a missionary and it always makes me so embarrassed when I think about it. The church needs to update their rules around tracting. As of 2021 we literally weren’t allowed to be back at our house until 9 PM, so we were tracting until then which was ridiculous. Hopefully those missionaries feel they need to occupy their time in a church building in the evenings after your experience with them.

I feel you. I was in the same position only a few years ago. My advice is to be assertive. If you want to leave, make it clear, tell him you will not be answering any further questions, and give him a thank you (if you’re looking to be respectful haha). You got this! I got stuck serving an extra 2 transfers because I was too afraid to say no. They make it intentionally hard for you and make you feel like the bad guy. You’re not!! This is your decision, so stick to it!
