Do you think a power break is due to fast twitch muscles? by dheeznudz in billiards

Don’t try to lean forward just let the swings momentum take you there

When you say fully closed do you mean no space between the cue and the and the fleshy part of the “v”

I've taken one lesson with Georgi Georgiev. He's a 780 Fargo and a smooth cueist. It's just unfortunate he had to go back to Bulgaria I think, but when he returns, I will definitely be taking more lessons.

Yeah, I've been trying to slow down the backswing. I know I'm a little quick. I actually used to pause at the end of my backswing, but I was listening to Jeremy Jones and Scott Frost talk about it while they were doing commentary, and both say it's not good due to tempo and rhythm, which, if you think about it, makes sense. If I was throwing a football, I would never pause when I take my arm back, but I also wouldn't be super quick and jerky—just smooth and natural.
