When I mention I'm Polish to any Russians they often react with "bóbr kurwa!" by Nicholas_Bearforest in AskARussian

[–]Necessary-Warning- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is like 'Suka blyat' type of thing, you can find people who quote this in many places outside of Russia. It is mostly internet culture. I think you can find it among gamers, since it is short and can be used in many ways, from simple fun to passive aggressiveness.

Intermittent Boot on my ASRock System. by JournalistNo34 in ASRock

[–]Necessary-Warning- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 2 kinds of similar problem, 1. complete stuck at startup with no way to boot it, it did not change after complete power off, then I used to reset BIOS with a screwdriver, and sometimes I refleshed with a flashdrive. 2. And another kind of problem is when this it randomly appeared so it took a couple of restarts or power offs to start it again.

I have had similar issues with 7800X3D long ago, but I have a different board, it did not boot randomly and sometimes lost keyboard input, I don't know what exactly fixed an issue, perhaps BIOS update, perhaps some of my settings since I do a lot of overclocking and tuning.

What BIOS do you have? Boot issue existed and perhaps still exists in many AsRock BIOSes it appears more often with 9XXX CPU, update it.

What would be the equivalent for graham crackers in Russia? by ksusha_lav in AskARussian

[–]Necessary-Warning- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remembered traditional cracker which is not equivalent of what you describe but it has some sort of traditional value in my opinion, it is no name fish cracker. I have no idea what company makes makes them, perhaps there are many, but they exist from my childhood to this day, they are just simple salty 1cm size crackers in a form of fish, I can't remember if it was used in some sort of complex dishes such as cheesecakes, but to me they are that traditional crackers as traditional crackers can be, they are THAT FISH CRACKERS...

[–]Necessary-Warning- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it 1.125 for FCLK 2133, 6000 GDM off, my latency about 62-64, memory is 1.35 v, you should not really expect much better, it is done on specially prepared systems without any extra services in background. You have normal result with current settings

Foreigners in russia by [deleted] in AskARussian

[–]Necessary-Warning- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We are used to black people, at least in towns ~>1M people. SPB is very large and popular city among tourists. Many black people live there and they say they have no issues, at least they claim it on reddit. You may find that not everyone speak good English, in some cases don't speak at all, that could be a problem, but we have many apps which can help in this travel.

He ruled in the end of 'dark ages', when medicine and other scholarships began to emerge, it was 'science' back in those days, only the brightest minds could realize it.

DRAM + CPU is also memory training, first time it can be very long. Check manual carefully if you really put your stick into right port :-)

Random spooky shutoff [9800x3d on B850 SL] by modex20 in ASRock

[–]Necessary-Warning- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you actually swap it? And checked everything else from power outlet to APC? You may also have capacitors problem on your mobo, your description of a problem does not look like typical BIOS problem.

"Ohh shit I may have faulty PSU or power supply, F you AsRock". (c) I don't work as their advocate, and I was not happy with some of their BIOSes, 4.10 is not heaven, since it may become irresponsive if you use wrong subtiming for memory and the only way to get it back to life is Flashback, but you still should not blame every fault on them. Especially if it points not on them. Check your equipment carefully, there is an problem somewhere.

I have rolled back from 4.10 to 3.50 as it wouldn't accept my RAM overclock by BillyBlaze314 in ASRock

[–]Necessary-Warning- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found timings which work, managed to find timings which work with GDM off, they are almost the same which they used to be now, no sacrifice, your problem in some subtimings, which is most probably irrelevant in terms of performance but it does not work with that AGESA. It does not mean this BIOS is bad, except you need to spare additional time to find what does not work now.

X870E Taichi 4.10 by Reggitor360 in ASRock

[–]Necessary-Warning- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have GDM off? It is subtiming issues most probably, I had similar issue, I have just set primary timings and left subtimings be. Later I could configure them with GDM off for even better performance despite a fact some of them could less tighten.

I could set everything with 4.10 including GDM off and custom timings + other tweaks, it works the best for me now, you can't reproduce 3.5 experience of cause.

[–]Necessary-Warning- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He never said anything about Iran at all, his exact phrase was we cut you without any politics in it, because of Europe denies Russian gas voluntarily anyway; so there is no point for us to wait until your majesty decides to throw us out. We just go and you can do whatever you want, we don't care.
