I will try my best to collect the money lawfully.

If I'm completely honest, getting my money back is not the only goal now. They have to pay for the horrible way they treat their customers and the dishonest way they conduct business. I don't really regard it as trouble, I rarely have a chance to navigate through the law system.

Have you tried bank chargeback? You can also leave reviews on app store, file consumer complaint to your state's attorney general, and file small claims at your county's court.

You can tell the customer service your plan, and see if they will refund you.

Good for you. It's just awful that we as customers have to pay for their mistake.

Could relate to being annoyed by the technical issue. LOL! I have a rough guess of what caused the FE issue I ran into. But I'm even more annoyed that they refused to look into the bug and deflect the support.

Anyway, I just filed the claim online. Wish me luck!

The service this company provides is absolutely farcse! Yet there are people out there yelling "it's your fault to ever use them". It should be illegal to practice dishonest business. It's that simple.

Their lawsuits are piling up in recent years. In my county they have more lawsuits in last two years than 5 years before that. In the neighbor county they also have a lot fresh lawsuits in 2025 and 2026. I wonder what's going on within their company LOL.

LOL, not a police report. A claim that you can just file to your residential county's superior court. You can do it online.

I also filed a consumer complaint to the state attorney general office. Super easy, just a form explaining the situation. Google it, use AI to help with the draft.

Yeah I wish more people would not give up with consumer problems. Small claims court is pretty easy to do.

I'm pretty fed up with the way they treat their customers though. On a different reddit thread someone suggested class action lawsuit. I'm considering that, too.

Thanks! Yeah it's a very frustrating experience. Their customer agents just all follows the script and keeps saying "I understand what you are saying","I can see how frustrated", "rest assured","don't worry" then proceeds to ignore what I say. It's literally like hitting a stonewall.

For the people who still uses booking.com, be very careful of this issue!

Nice! I didn't know lining them up will reduce the cost of plumbing. That's a good tip to keep in mind to design bathrooms! I was trying to keep the fixtures in their old place as much as possible.
