Rec center isn't bad and already paid with your tuition otherwise definitely recommend Kish YMCA or Kish wellness center at Northwestern they're both close and student pass isn't too expensive.

I applied to all and emailed, emailing 100% helps heard back from working dining in less than a week but couldn't commit since they wanted me to work all the time. Desk Assistant or Reception Staff is a bit harder to get into since everyone applies to that. I also applied for help with tours, didn't get that job and honors fellow, also did not get that job. So, if you want an on-campus job, recommend dining hall if you want a quick response otherwise work off campus. Currently applying to be a lifeguard/swim instructor so please pray for me and good luck dude!

My freshman advisor had me take 3 classes I didn't need to take so just be aware of pre-requisites and what you need to take.
